• Casco Viejo - In the old town, visitors will find a collection of colonial-style churches, relocated from the original city in early 1673. The site was part of a U.S. military complex called “Fort Amador,” established to protect the entrance to the Panama Canal. Some remnants of the military installations can still be seen on these islands.
