Interesting and very fun - Great experience, was fun to experience the Panamanian foods and the hike was very good. Not too difficult and very interesting, the waterfalls were the best part

Hidden waterfalls - One of the best hiking excursions I've had. The trail is tough (US rating would be difficult), but the payoff is fantastic. There are two small water crossings that I expect would be ankle deep during the rainy season. The waterfalls have swimmable pools so definitely bring a bathing suit to cool off. We didn't see anyone else on the trail the entire time. We heard monkeys but they didn't want to show themselves. Lots of buttterflies and small lizards. The tour started with a nice drive into the countryside. Luis shared a lot of Panamanian history. Breakfast was a local hotspot with live music. We could order whatever we wanted and there were plenty of options. It's heavy food, great for working/hiking. The music made it a very authentic experience. After entering the national park area and driving through the small villages, we met with Ms. Louise who led us through the jungle. She was phenomenal and shared fruit she had grown at her home. She has a small building on an outlook from the jungle (thatch roof and dirt floor) with hammocks and benches. It was a small piece of paradise. From there, the water falls are only a few minutes away. After the trek, we headed back to town and had a quick lunch. Lunch wasn't Panamanian food, but it hit the spot. Highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to spend a full day seeing the area, eating real local food (for breakfast), and enjoys a good hike (about 3 hours round trip including the falls).

The tour was really good.... - The tour was really good. It was remote and not a public trail so we didn’t see anyone else. The mountain side drive is bumpy so I recommend Dramamine before you go.
