Great experience - It was private trip .Guide was very patient allowing us to spend valuable time in boat . They try to find all kind of monkeys , bats , crocodiles. Helped us even with cash as we did not take cash . Overall great experience

Perfect layover tour! - I had a 9 hour layover in Panama City and wanted to make the most of it, but couldn’t find a Monkey Island tour that accommodated my flight schedule. I was lucky enough to find this one, and am so happy I did! I was picked up at the airport and stopped for lunch with my guide before heading to the boat. We had so many opportunities to see monkeys and the canal - it is absolutely worth the trip! Cesar and Roderick were both wonderful, I highly recommend this trip to anyone considering an afternoon with the monkeys!

Great Time in Panama - Aura was very knowledgeable and shared information on what to expect. She speaks English and Spanish very well. She knows great spots to pick up souvenirs. I recommend this trip to everyone who visits Panama.

Best Panama tour with an ausome guide - We spent about 5+ hours with our guide Aura. She is the best guide ever! She knows her stuff, is open to last minute adjustments in travel. She is an excellent driver and very entertaining. The tour itself is definitely worth it. We were out on Gaton lake and saw many monkeys up close. The sanctuary was a real treat and although we could not pet a sloth, they were pretty close. I highly recommend this tour and when we return to Panama City we will be looking for tours with Aura. Well done, Aura!!!!!

Great day for our first time in Panama and to see the natural habitat of monkeys and birds, etc. thank you - Fun adventure to see the wildlife on Gatun Lake. Richard our guide was very knowledgeable, not only about the wildlife, monkeys and birds, but also about the history of the Panama Canal and how he grew up in the zone.

Amazing Tour!!!! - What an unforgettable experience! My friend and I booked the Monkey Watch & Gatun Lake Wildlife Safari Private Tour, and it was hands-down the best excursion I’ve ever had—and I’ve done quite a few! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We were picked up ahead of schedule in downtown Panama City by our amazing tour guide, Jordi. The vehicle was cool and comfortable, and the ride was filled with great conversation and fascinating insights. Jordi speaks several languages and his English is impeccable. Along the way, he shared incredible details about the history and landmarks we passed, adding so much depth to the journey. I should mention that I have a knee injury and rely on crutches, but Jordi went above and beyond to accommodate me. He drove the car directly to the boat ramp, making it as easy as possible for me to get on board. His kindness and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! Once on the lake, the adventure truly began. We were lucky enough to see three species of monkeys—two of which actually came onto our boat! I even snagged a selfie with one of them (a definite highlight!). We also spotted vibrant birds, spider bats, stunning iguanas in shades of green and gold, and even a three-toed sloth up close! The boat ride itself was incredible, cruising down the lake alongside the massive ships traversing the Panama Canal. Having a private tour was absolutely worth it—it gave us the flexibility to tailor the experience to what we wanted to see and do. Whether it was adjusting the boat’s top for the best views or opting for shade, everything was catered to our preferences. Jordi’s knowledge about the canal, wildlife, and the area’s history made the experience even richer. He answered all our questions, entertained us with his howler monkey impressions (and actually got responses back!), and even acted as our personal photographer with his incredible phone camera. He later shared the photos via WhatsApp, including bonus shots of animals he’s seen with other groups—such a thoughtful touch! This tour was phenomenal from beginning to end. I can’t wait to return to Panama, and when I do, there’s no doubt I’ll book another tour with this group - and ask for Jordi! If you’re considering this experience, do yourself a favor and go for it—it’s the adventure of a lifetime!

Highly recommended - Excellent walk full of nature and with our guide Richard, we receive many valuable information about the region and each place we visit,

False Advertising/Poor Experience - The experience was falsely advised. The booking says you would get a guided tour and you can choose of you wanted to ride a boat however upon arrival the boat was the only option and you are made to ride the boat plus pay an additional fee to ride the boat. You didn’t see or experience what they said you would. We saw in total one sleep sloth and 3 monkeys after being on the water for over an hour.
