Great tour for a lay over. - Richard is very friendly and knowledgeable. A tour guide that greets and is familiar with everyone at every location during the tour, is a good sign you have a good guide.

Great tour! - Excellent tour! Richard is knowledgeable and it was fun. He has e trusting timed out as well as possible. The canal can be unpredictable but we got there early and we were able to beat the crowd for a great view. Richard is also a great “photographer”. He made sure we captured all of the memories!

Great tour, especially Luis :) - Luis was a wealth of knowledge, so personable and made the tour extremely enjoyable. We were the first ones to enter the Panama Canal visitor center and Luis helped us get amazing vantage point to see the ships pass through the locks. He also went above and beyond to show us additional points of interest as it was starting to rain to delay our Casco visit. Highly recommend!!!

Tour of Panama - It was a amazing to see how the water rises and descends in the locks. Love the 3D movie documentary about the history of the canal, narrated by Morgan Freeman that was educational and informative. Our guide, Dimos, was quite knowledgeable about the history of his country and friendly.

Panama Canal tour - 10/10 experience for sure. Our tour guide Dimos was excellent. From start to finish he did an awesome job explaining the canal its functions and historical relics around the city. He was very polite and cordial with the experience. I definitely recommend this tour!

Informative Experience - It was an informative experience. After seeing the ship pass through the Panama Canal, you get to see a documentary on the creation of the canal in the IMAX theater. It was very nice. Time is spent seeing the city and walking through Old Town.

Too expensive for what you actually get! Party of four paid $268 plus an extra $120.00 the day of tour!!! - Not worth your time or your money. Better to get the sightseeing RED bus!!
The Sightseeing RED bus cost:
$90 bus fare for party of 4 (double-decker bus, open air/ no AC)
$36 round trip (Uber to/fromBalboa Plaza & our resort).
$68 canal entrance & movie (we didn’t do the canal as we had done this the day before on the Panama Canal & city tour listed below. Just added this for reference in comparing the cost)
TOTAL cost $194
The Panamá canal & city tour’s cost:
$268 van transportation w/AC during tour for four people
$40 round trip (to/from tour bus pre-designated locations & our resort - didn’t even get to walk/shop Casco Viejo. Tour guide rushed us through stops. We only got to see what we could during the time it took the tour guide to drop us off and drive around the block before he came back to pick us up!!! NOT WORTH IT!
$80 canal entrance & movie (cost is $17/person but tour guide charged a convenience fee so it was $20/person)
TOTAL cost $388
*subtract $40 (tour guide picks you up for free at some hotels - depending on distance)
Bus stops at same places that the Panama Canal & city tour and you can “take your time” sightseeing, shopping & eating!!! *bus drivers are super informative and helpful - great historians too!!
