Recommended - packs a lot in one tour. - Long but well filled and organized day. Plenty of great information, and recommendations, above and beyond the scope of the tour. A good amount of time allowed at each stop. Standard recommended items to bring - comfortable shoes, sunscreen and maybe an umbrella. You can leave your stuff on the bus, so don't hesitate to bring other items. Photographers bring a zoom for the wildlife - lots of opportunities Lunch was hot and delicious and served at a road side park. Tour starts with a long ride, so snacks are a good idea for your breakfast.

Remarkable and educational experience - Amazing experience. John, our tour guide shared a remarkable amount of information regarding Panamanian history, the canal and wildlife as well as additional resources (books, articles, movies) if we were interested in learning more. He also provided tips and recommendations for local restaurants and ways to enhance our trip. John's experience really showed through with the timing of each portion of our excursion. We miraculously arrived at the locks just in time to see a ship come in and exited in time to avoid crowds. Lunch was delicious and the fort and boat ride in the monkey islands was enjoyable.

Ocean to Ocean Tour worth the money, highly recommended! - This is a phenomenal experience. The guide, John, was experienced and knowledgeable about the history, area, geograph y and animal life we would encounter. We highly recommend this trip. John, who is extremely personable and humourous, also assisted in providing other advice of what to see and where to eat in Panama. Additionally, the tour operator accomodated in providing us with our special dietary meals.

Amazing tour! - Amazing tour! Alonso was a great guide and very informative. You can tell her really loves his country and is proud to tell us about its rich history. A guide can make or break a tour in my option and Alonso made it for us and everyone on the tour, you could ask him about anything from sloths to how the Spanish fought off pirates and he had the answer! The tour is so much more than a tour of the canal, it’s an experience. From bus to boat is a great way to take in the canal and seeing the boats up close give a great perspective of the size and scale of the operation in Panama. Plus the side tour of the islands around the canal and the monkeys and sloths makes it even more enjoyable. The food that was prepared was great, everyone on our tour enjoyed it and most went back for seconds! My partner and I really enjoyed this tour.

Canal - It was a great experience. So much more than just the canal. You see nature. It’s more of a land trip then for a transit canal trip. Our guide did not rush us and allowed us to watch a ship go through the first step at the Agua Clara. The autheoPanamanian lunch was delicious. Even more enjoyable eating on the picnic tables at the fort On the way back we stopped on the road for Sloths better eagle eyed drivers saw.

Great tour guide to see and learn about the Panama Canal - Our guide, John, was great! Very knowledgeable and attentive. Lunch was delicious. I was slightly disappointed that we did not walk in the jungle after being told to bring shoes we might get muddy. I definitely would have worn different shoes since we didn’t walk on any dirt paths. The canal is very interesting, and we enjoyed the boat ride.

Great tour overall - The tour itself was perfect and our tour guide was wonderful. I got food poisoning from the lunch unfortunately. My husband had the vegetarian plate and had no issues.
