• Soberania National Park - Soberania National Park spans nearly 50,000 acres or 200 square kilometers, situated in the heart of the Panama Canal. It is home to a diverse array of wildlife and birds. The adventure will take place on the pipeline road within the park, where participants will hike along the service road of this pipeline, surrounded by the rainforest on both sides. The hike begins at 6:30 pm to witness the transition from daylight to darkness. Spotting animals is a bonus, with guaranteed sightings of insects, leaf-cutter ants, spiders, exotic plants, and bats. Each night offers a new path, embracing the spirit of adventure. As it may rain in the rainforest, ponchos and torches are provided for everyone.
• Gamboa - After the hike, there is a stop at the confluence of the Chagres River and the Panama Canal, where the river supplies water to the canal.
• Centennial Bridge - The journey continues across the Centennial Bridge, offering a bird’s-eye view of this remarkable engineering marvel.
• Pedro Miguel Locks - The second set of locks on the Pacific side, where there is a stop to admire the Panama Canal.
• Amador Causeway (Calzada de Amador) - Located at the entrance of the Panama Canal, the Causeway provides stunning nocturnal views of Panama City.

This unique night hiking adventure is the only one of its kind within a National Park, located just 35 minutes from Panama City. The journey begins at 6:30 pm, transitioning from daylight to complete darkness at the entrance of Pipeline Road in Soberania National Park. This service road was reopened in 1988 by the Smithsonian Institute to provide their scientists with a safe area for exploration and sample collection in the forest, without the risk of direct entry. The road is composed of dirt and gravel. This tour offers a safe way to experience the sounds of the rainforest at night, with opportunities to see insects and exotic plants. While the tour is not specifically designed for animal sightings, there is a chance of encountering wildlife with some luck. Headlamps and ponchos are provided for all participants. After the hike, the tour includes a drive over the Centennial Bridge for a panoramic view of the canal at night. Additionally, there is a stop at the Pedro Miguel parking lot to explain the workings of the Panama Canal, followed by a drive towards Amador to showcase the stunning night skyline of Panama City.
