With plenty of splashes, paddling, and laughter, it’s perfect for both first-time rafters and seasoned pros. A must-do for all families who love outdoor adventures.
Toby Creek originates from high alpine glaciers atop the Purcell Mountains. It carves a turquoise path through mountain wilderness and steep canyons as it flows downstream to meet the Columbia River. The trip lasts approximately 2 hours.
- Minimum age is 8 years
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
- Please bring a bathing suit, towel, and fleece sweaters on cold days.
- Do not bring jewelry, valuables, or cameras (unless waterproof).

Great fun! - Did the Toby Creek run again this year! As last year, a great experience for the whole family. Knowledgeable and humours guides were only topped by the amazing scenery. I definitely recommend this run for a family.

Fantastic family activity. - Our family had an amazing time! Perfect for our 10 and 8 year-old’s first white water rafting. Our guide, Gabby, made the experience fun and safe. Great family fun!

Family Friendly Fun - A gorgeous drive to the Panorama meeting spot followed by the friendly and funny infra by the guides, started the morning right. Well trained and experienced guides - Emma was fabulous! We enjoyed views of tge magnificent mountain ranges between our focus on the short and moderate rapid sections. Lots of family fun. So glad my eight year old was allowed to join on this journey.

3 trips over 15 years - We had a blast with our tour guide can't remember his name but he had epic dreads and he is from Chile. Very professional and fun. This is our 3rd trip with KRR over 15 years I believe and they are always fantastic!

Fantastic Family Adventure! - We had a wonderful trip today. Our 9 year old got to ride shot gun. And 14 year old helped got to help paddle. Enough calm and enough rapids.

Greta experience. - What a trip. Perfect experience for anyone that’s never been. Guides were so dope. Zac and Jimmy are legends. Ty the manager was deadly. Everyone was super accommodating and the tour was great for our group. Will definitely come back for a longer trip.

Fun for all ages. - Teagan, our guide, was awesome. Friendly, funny and above all safe. She was on top of her game at all times while still offering details of the area. The entire staff was excellent.
This was more for novice or beginners but still fun and exciting. A good way to dip your toe 😁

What a great introduction to River Rafting! - Absolutely wunderbar!
Everything from getting prepped with a wet suit, helmet and shoes to practising paddling to what to do on the river was done with safety front of mind. With a splash of humor to go with every instruction.
Zach started off the safety training at Panorama. Eric was the guy who taught us a bit more about what to do and not to do while in a river raft, while we were transported from Panorama up the road to the starting point. Toby was our guide assigned to our raft of 6 adults. All three gentlemen used humor to get their messages to stick.
With humility and a touch of humor, Toby won our raft over. If we weren't asking him questions about the river, which restaurant was his favorite or where he was fun, then he was making us laugh with his stories and anecdotes about the river itself. The hour on the river just flew by.
While the majority of our party had river rafted before, to top it all off, we had a first timer (and non-swimmer to boot) on board, who was made to feel right at home and ultra safe the entire passage.

Tyler is the best! - We were on a girls trip first time rafting! Was a little nervous. But we had Tyler aka “Tyrone” and he made us feel safe and comfortable! He was hilarious and I highly recommend requesting him for your trip. We felt safe it was a lot of fun and you do get wet.

Great day of rafting! - We did the Toby Creek rafting today. Our guide, Toby, was terrific! We were a group of 6 and Toby took special care to ensure the very nervous 10 year old in our group was comfortable.
The rafting was not too difficult and the scenery was gorgeous. I wouldn’t hesitate to go again!
