An informative guide and a great day - We had a great tour learned so much from our lovely guide Eva who seemed to know her island very well. We never felt rushed but seemed to pack so much into the day.

A great experience. A glimpse of the heart of Cyprus - Starting off in Paphos picking up from hotels then following the old Paphos/limassol road to our first stop Petra tou Romiou (Aphorodites Rocks). We learnt from guide Eva that Aphorodite emerged from the surf by the rocks. After a brief stop for photographs we then continued towards Limassol. We then proceeded all the road past Episkopi garrison part of the Sovereign base areas (British Military). Then we headed towards Kourion an ancient hillside settlement. We visited the Theatre and also some excavations. It was very informative with some great views over the bay. They were preparing for a musical event which is a highlight during the summer months. We re-joined the coach and made our way towards the village of Kolossi. We learnt about the history of the area and why Kolossi Castle was built. We also learnt about Richard the Lion heart. We had time to visit the castle and have a drink at the café. Getting back onto the coach we headed inland up towards the village of Omodos. We could visibly see how much devastation wild fires had caused earlier this summer. The scenery was like it was caught in shadow yet on closer inspection we realised it was charred remains of trees, bushes, vines. It looked devastating and then a glimmer of hope with areas of green emerging. We then arrived at the beautiful village of Omodos. A village that is close to my heart. We visited Georges bakery we had samples of goods to try and taste including Nuts, bread and Olive oil. We then passed into the shop were we could buy from the small shop. We then went to the Church which reportedly hold parts of the cross and also part of the rope that bound Jesus's hands. After our visit we went to a restaurant to enjoy a drink and something to eat. It was then back to the coach for our visit to Gerolemo winery. I am not a wine lover but found the tasting session incredible. We were lucky enough to have our tasting session guided by our of the two brothers. His enthusiasm and friendliness was evident. He was doing something he loved, his passion. We tasted a few wines including Commandaria and the spirit Zivania. They have a website for those interested in wine. It was an enjoyable experience. We then made our way back to the bus and headed back to Paphos the sun was getting lower setting the scene with a golden glow. The experience was a great introduction to Cyprus. A big thankyou for our driver Andreas nicknamed "sexy Andreas" by our guide Eva. Eva is a historian full of knowledge and stories. She is a gem and sums up the warmth of the Cypriot people. A great Experience

A must do tour - worth every penny - We’ve had a really difficult holiday and nearly flew home early, but decided to complete the last few days and go on this tour and I’m so glad we did. This tour was the highlight of our trip. Eva is so knowledgable and funny. Every stop was wonderful, everyone we met was friendly and the trip was topped off with a stop at a Winery. We learned so much, bought many gifts and just thoroughly enjoyed our time from start to finish. Michael was a really professional driver too. We could not have asked for more. Sending love to Eva’s brother, I hope the miracle continues. Thank you for giving us some lovely memories to take back to the UK tomorrow.

Love History and Culture? This tour is for you! - My mother and me went on two excursions with Sea Island. We firstly went on the Cyprus Heritage Tour with Eva as our guide. Eva was wonderful and she is a fantastic storyteller. She managed to transport us back into Cypriot history whilst mixing in local culture, customs and her personal experiences. We then did the Limassol tour with Giannis, who has a passion for history. He was incredibly kind and spoke to my mother about her time in Cyprus as a girl in the 1960s. I would honestly recommend an excursion with Sea Island Tours, don’t forgot to say “Yassas!”.

A flavour of Cyprus - A good value day out. Ably led by Eva and driven safely by Vas. A good mix of history. Greek mythology with a photo stop at Aphrodites Rick. Onto Kouria archaeological site. Quite a lot under wraps because of restoration which was a shame, but the views were fantastic. Then Kolossi Castle, medieval history. Onto Odosso village and church. Tip: go off the main drag for lunch (which is a bit touristy). We found a super taverna off one of the side streets, with local Cypriot dishes. 😋. Then finally, it was a visit to a winery, which was great fun. The owners, two brothers, of which we met one. He gave a down to earth talk and thrre was generous tasting. We were quite pickled! Little snacks laid on. There was no pressure to buy, but of course, we did. A very good day out. Thank you Eva, thank you Vas.

Pleasant day out - A good, informative introduction to some Cyprus history. Good guide and driver and comfortable transport. Just be aware that this is a typical bus tour, with not much time at each location, so if you want an in depth look at the places, you will need to visit independently.

Great guide and smooth driver - Eva made the trip very informative and fun. We saw all the sights in the itinerary with a historical background on each, we enjoyed the wine tasting the most. Unfortunately the lunch stop was a bit limited due to the number of closed restaurants since we were visiting off season, so if you have dietary requirements, give it a search before going to make sure you can find something to snack on :)
