• Hautvillers - 10:30 - 10:50 Visit the Abbey’s Church of Sindulphe d’Hautvillers (Abbaye Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers), a former Benedictine monastery founded in 665 and active until the French Revolution in 1789. Dom Perignon developed winemaking methods in the Champagne region here. Today, the village hosts 26 local Champagne producers. Stop at the viewpoint for stunning panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river. Depart for Epernay at 10:50 (10 km), a journey of about 10 minutes.

Depart for Paris at 13:45. The return journey takes 2 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic (135 km).
