Great Guide for a Great Castles Day Trip from Paris - We're very glad that we picked this trip. There was a total of 6 visitors and guide in a van. Our guide & driver "Brune from Brie" was wonderful. Very personable and she knows a great deal about the area. Her suggestion about where to eat lunch in Fountainebleau was perfect. There isn't too much driving on this trip, and you get to see some of the French countryside. Fontainebleau is huge inside. The gardens outside Vaux-Le-Vicomte are huge and since it was Christmas time they were decorated for the occasion and there were activities such as ice skating. Both castles were impressive. There was even a bonus third castle we stopped by briefly on the way.

Will is a Thrill! - My guide Will was the best. He was very knowledgeable and very considerate. I am partially disabled, and he kept a good eye on me. He was very knowledgeable about the history of both places. He is an excellent driver, too! Thank you, Will. My best wishes to you for your future success! Great tour with Augustin! - We had our best day in Paris on the tour with Augustin! His historical knowledge combined with his pleasant professional personality made what might be an ordinary experience into a fantastic one. No doubt he went above and beyond !

An enchantment - The castles of Fontainebleau and Vaux le Vicomte are majestic. Each of them reflects an important period in the history of France. I highly recommend this visit. The Christmas illuminations of Vaux le Vicomte are beautiful and unique.
Philippe from BlueFox is is a top! guide listening and very professional. BlueFox is the only tour operator that guarantees the tour regardless of the number of participants. The meeting point is very clear. The duration of the visit is very good. We have time to visit both castles and have lunch.

I was surprised at how... - I was surprised at how much we loved the Chateau. It is privately owned and a work of passion for the owners I am sure. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas!

Not one our best days for touring - It started with a late arrival at Fountainbleau, due to traffic, so understandable. However, our guide spent too much time outside giving us lots of history, which left us with only 1 hour and 25 minutes to tour the entire chateau. Not enough time. I felt the guide should have shortened his outside talk for more time inside. Tell us the rest in the van. Secondly, Vaux-Le Comte was CLOSED. Perhaps, someone a few days before might check since it was in the off season.
