Unique and Lovely Wine & Cheese Tasting - I love the wine and cheese tastings and food tours in Paris, so I'm not a novice to the experience. Alex's was so very different from the rest and we thoroughly enjoyed it. He regaled us with history as we walked through the streets. He encouraged participation with toasting our new friends and ordering a baguette in French. And when we returned to his restaurant to enjoy the wines and cheeses, I discovered that I had been here on a previous trip and had had a wonderful experience! Alex himself made the difference and I would highly recommend his tastings and tours.

Above and beyond - We were blown away by Chef Alex’s tour. He was truly inspiring and so passionate about the area, the history, the journey and the distinctions of the cheeses. I don’t know if I just didn’t read the overview well enough but I was thoroughly impressed and pleased with the depth that he went into during the tour. He also lays the tour out in a way that progresses from calm to intense flavor, all while you are conversing with new friends. Couldn’t recommend this enough! This was an amazing introduction into French culture and cuisine.

Great family friendly experience with excellent host. - Meeting point for the tour is a bit confusing at first but it’s really fine once you figure it out. The meeting point is near a metro station and you take a short walking tour toward Alex’s restaurant. It’s actually really nice to see the neighborhood but just know you will be outside for the first 15 minutes or so and do some walking and standing outside. Overall, this is an excellent experience. It’s family friendly and you will enjoy a fair amount of wine and cheese. Alex is outstanding! Be ready to interact and have fun with your group. I DON’T recommend doing this tour right after you get off the plane from the USA as some people do. You will want to be rested so you can enjoy this to the fullest.

A must-do! - Our guide, chef Alex, is the best! We had so much fun. We learned about and experienced French culture/history on this tour not just cheese and wine. I would recommend to any person visiting Paris. It was my favorite tour that I booked!

Fun, tasty, and informative! - We had a fabulous time! Alex is very knowledgeable and fun. We learned a lot about the neighborhood where the tour was located, as well as about the wines and cheeses. Everything was tasty. Thanks to Alex for a very fun evening!

Chef Alex Stole My African Moms Heart. A delightful experience. - Though my African mom is skeptical of certain cheeses, she had a great time with Chef Alex! Her world opened up through his humor and teachings. Chef Alex and the group we were with were absolutely a delight and I'd recommend to anyone looking not just for wine and cheese but a good look into French food culture.

The tour involves a... - The tour involves a little walk as well, with a little history. The cheese and wine tasting, although tasty, was tense as the host kept on giving instructions what to do, and what not to do. It was really quite annoying

Unable to attend - The location of the experience could not be found. We were unable to attend because the meeting location was a subway stop and the guide was not at the stop when we arrived.
