Well, now you can! Take a leisurely stroll through the vibrant gardens of the artist’s home, which served as the muse for his famous piece, ‘Nympheas’, among others. Following lunch, make your way to Versailles, the regal residence of three King Louises. The extravagant grandeur of this majestic Palace will surely take your breath away right from the first glance. In fact, you’re likely to spend the remainder of your visit in awe!

A little more brightens the day! - À small group tour is worth the extra money!
The gardens that captured the eye of Claude Monet were very beautiful. Every flower gave me that happy & refreshed feeling.

Good way to see both Giverny and Versailles - A great way to see Giverny and Versailles in the same day. We felt rushed at both places, but I can't imagine trying to do them both in one day except on a tour. The lunch was nice, too, but I would have preferred a quick lunch to spend more time at Versailles.

Two Great Sites in One Day - The Monet Garden/Versailles combined trip allowed us to see two outstanding historical sites in one day without the hassle of coordinating transportation to/from both locations or dealing with all the different logistics. Our tour guide was very good and managed to navigate us through the masses of tourists.

Spectacular day! - One of the best experiences we have had so far in France! Absolutely glorious day, spending time in Monet’s spectacular garden, standing in the same spots that inspired some of his most exquisite paintings! Then onto Versailles, to view some of the most extravagant, lavish spaces of the palace and gardens while hearing the history of France’s monarchy up to the French Revolution. Fascinating!
Steve was an excellent tour guide, filled with rich knowledge and humor. He provided detailed historical information, yet allowed ample time for us to explore on our own.
I loved everything about this tour, and would certainly recommend. The only “challenge” was the initial meet up, where many other like tours were also gathering at the same time. It was a bit chaotic, but it all sorted out. A small group is certainly the way to go, as you’re able to navigate complex and very busy spaces very easily! Would do again honestly! Worth the time and money!

A wonderful day at Giverny and Versailles with Nattie. - We had a lovely day starting with a stop at Giverny Monet House and then on to the Chateau and gardens at Versailles lead by our most capable tour guide Nattie. She was wonderful and got us around the lines and through the exhibits with expediency and gave us insight regarding the important things that were “must see”.

Lessons learned! Don’t make my mistakes… - Versailles is heavily dependent on time of year. We were the May 8, 2025 - tulips were done blooming and the next things hadn’t started. The gardens were lovely but we simply did not have enough time to wander as much as we wanted to.
Giverny was beautiful! We wandered the gardens the entire time and didn’t have time to explore the house, which was fine with us. Walking around was really lovely.
If I come back I’d split the two, as both could easily be entire day trips in themselves.
The lunch between was really enjoyable and we met some lovely travelers from CA, AL, NY, and IL.
We also did a self guided tour and I’d recommend a guided tour for others. We would’ve covered more ground and learned more had we had a guided tour. We didn’t take headphones so listening to the app tour seemed intrusive to other visitors so we skipped it and just wandered.
My tip - pay the extra for the guided tour, and bring Euros to tip your guide and driver.

Good tour but be careful when booking - The Monet house and gardens were beautiful! So many great picture opportunities and beautiful displays of artwork. The palace and gardens were spectacular. We were a very disappointed thinking we would be with an actual guide but we were not. It was not guided by the tour guide - go figure. It was only an audio tour and we had to download two different apps for the tours. When we explained this to the tour guide she did not offer to let us purchase the other part of the tour.

Left behind in the garden, wish we could get our money back - We were with a group comprised of both guided and self-guided visitors. (about 40?) Our guide, Claire, used a folded black umbrella raised slightly over her head to try to lead our group through an entrance into the garden that was so crowded several of us "guided" visitors got separated right at the start! (Other guides from this company had signs that were easy to spot.) We had no idea how to find her except by listening to the signal in our headsets get louder or fade out. Even when we could hear her, we had no idea what she was talking about because we didn't know what she was pointing out! By the time we found her, she was through the garden and we were ushered through the house and had to find our way back to the bus because we couldn't find her again (one gentlemen was left behind). Monet's Garden was a total waste of time for us! I wish we could get our money back!
Claire did better at Versailles. Unlike at the garden, she was very clear where the guided and and self-guided visitors were to go, when to return and where to meet. (She even counted us to be sure we were all there) She led us through the palace - lots of information in a short time - and then showed us the entrance to the gardens and reminded us when to return. Very different from our experience in the morning.
Lesson learned: If you want a guided tour, do not go on a tour with both guided and self-guided visitors. (That creates lots of confusion for both groups.) Get a guide that used a sign that is easy to see to lead the group. (That could have made a world of difference.)

We showed up on time and the trip had already left - We showed up on time and the trip had already left. If they had wanted us before 8:15 they should have said so. Very frustrating

Misleading description! - The description says both guided and audio but neither was true. We had a guide but she did not guide us through either location. We were left on our own with no context to the locations we were at like we hoped for. Also both locations were incredibly packed making the experience less pleasurable! Disappointing!
