Magical Moments Made - I took my kiddo for their 18th birthday and planned to toast them at the top of the tower but, due to ice and extreme cold, the top was closed. Our guide, Lauren, didn’t let that detail stop us from enjoying the experience. I had been in the tower before without a guide and the experience was made so much more thrilling with a knowledgeable and passionate person to truly listen to our group (made up of us a couple who happened to get engaged amid our tour) and point out landmarks of interest to us. She is so warm and personable, we instantly felt like old friends. Our fellow travelers were clearly amidst their own incredible memory-making adventure and Lauren did a wonderful job of letting them have their moment while giving my teen and I more information on things of interest to us. She handled everything like an absolute professional while giving us advice on how to stay safe as a mom and petite teen navigating the crowded area alone. I wished we could have had her with us the rest of the trip as we wandered so many neighborhoods taking in as much history and beauty as we could. Definitely a 5-⭐️ experience. 10/10 would do it again. Thanks, Lauren and Danis Tours!

Danyl was a great tour... - Danyl was a great tour guide. He gave us historical information on the Eiffel Tower that we wouldn't have known had we simply just gone up the tower on our own. I recommend doing it at night, the views are beautiful!

Sunset Glory - I would recommend timing your visit so that you arrive before dusk and get to experience the tower in the fading light, at sunset and lit up at night. Don't be disappointed if you don't get to the summit as the views from level 2 are magnificent. Our guide Daniel was very warm and knowledgeable, and took time to help us all capture some fantastic photos. The only down side was the icy gale blowing that impacted some of the commentary and drove some of us inside for a bit.

I would recommend to only people who want to wait in line for a long time and enjoys large groups. - I booked 9:30pm on Jan 2 (my birthday). The operator let me know via whatsapp the day before that my tour is now at 8pm. I informed them I would be coming to Paris by train at 5:48pm but could drop off my bags and head there. Maybe be a little late. The tour operator told me to come the following day at 4pm. When I arrived there was just a giant group of people about 40+ for 2 tour guides. We stopped for photos for a few minutes along the way which was the highlight of the tour. It went downhill from there. The tour says 2 hours, that along with every other answer for a time estimate was a gross underestimation. Because the group is so large with only 2 people managing the group it took a very long time for us to go through the first security gate together (30 min) then we waited in another line to take the elevator is which took another 2 hours. By the time we went up there I had no time to go to the summit so that was a waste of money. I also only got to spend 15 minutes up there because I had theater tickets for 8pm. Yes if you book a 4pm tour for 2 hours you will not get to summit or see much of the Eiffel Tower if you have plans for 8pm. Another family was frustrated because they had dinner plans for 7:30. We paid $145 for an adult and youth ticket I think that’s probably only $50 if you walk up yourself. The tour guides did not provide a lot of information in those 2 hours. I don’t blame them there’s not much you can do with a group that large unless you plan on yelling for hours. The tour ends on the 2nd floor so you are really paying for someone to tell you bland hard to hear facts for 2 hours. I think our group was larger than 50 only because we went up in 2 separate elevators and each one fits 50 lol. Would not recommend for children or anyone really. Was freezing cold and many of us were marching in place to warm up and because our knees were locking up. Yes you will be standing the entire time. I lost half a day just standing there for 15 minutes of seeing the Paris skyline. Go to the Grand Hyatt bar instead and enjoy the view with a nice drink—unless you want to stand in line for hours to then stand in more lines to go back down and buy the same souvenirs they sell at the airport gift shop for the same price minus the duty! Also this tour group is entirely too large to move efficiently AND I could’ve totally joined the tour late the night before because of all the standing around waiting AND because there was a big family that did join us late so obviously they allow that to happen. I regret letting them rebook me and I wish I could’ve gotten my afternoon back.

AVOID SCAM - Booking with the group provided nothing besides additional cost and did not reserve any top access. The tour guide was deceptive and very scummy
