Simply beautiful, a tourist attraction. - I was in this wonderful shopping on 04.09.
The Lafayette Hausmann Gallery, 131 years old, was founded at number 1 of Lafayette Street in 1894.
It was inspired by the Opera Garnier, with its beautiful dome, the arches making mention of theatrical cabins.
And now it has the glasswalk, so you can take pictures of the dome.
It is one more tourist attraction, the shops are from large grifes Armani, Prada, Louboutin, Chanel, and others the most accessible for poor mortal Sephora.
It also includes cafes, and a store of the renowned Macarons Pierre Hermé. (Delicious)
Attention has another Lafayette Gallery, that of Beaugrenelle, in the 15th Arrondissement

These galleries reflect the luxury and splendor so unique to the city. - A visit that no one should miss, if you visit Paris and have some time.
The central dome is unique and spectacular, plus the panoramic terrace offers incredible views of the city.

Glorious Galeries! - This was our seventeenth trip to Paris and when we were looking for new opportunities to explore, we were thrilled to take this wonderful tour! Led by a very knowledgeable woman who used an IPad to show early photos and add to the historical interest, this small group got to see the Archives/learn about the gorgeous dome and explore behind it and so much more!

Beautiful and great history - Highly recommend this tour. My wife wanted to do it and I just went along. Very impressed with the history information provided. Violet did a wonderful job. This is a must do in Patis

Fantastic! - Our tour guide Violet was amazing! Gracious, enthusiastic and elegant. I can’t believe how lucky I was to find this unique tour-a must see in Paris! Don’t miss seeing the Dome at the Gallerie Lafayette Hausman, one of the most magnificent pieces of decorative art you’ll ever see.

Great view from the roof and beautiful and impressive glass dome. - Walked around all 6 floors. Beautiful and expensive things everywhere. impressive views from 6th floor. Could see all of Paris. Sad and on the 3rd floor and got a cup of coffee and cake next to the incredibly beautiful dome.

The Lafayette woman of Paris is no more! - It's no wonder that these stores are being closed one after another! Before the Haussman women's store was great, we bought traditional brands and wearable clothing by various categories of customers; now there are shelves of trivialities, improbable clothes reserved for a restricted clientele, ephemeral creators, a real MASSACRE of our Galleries of yesteryear; what surprised me at this saddening observation were the conversations I had with customers and with the staff, no, we did not dream, we must now move on. We want to buy from sellers but we are pushed towards the internet.
Most of the brands Weil, Devernois, Sonia Rykiel, Chacok and many others...For the moment Pablo, Caroll and a few brands are still saved but for how long? I have fled Printemps and Le Bon Marché since their transformation and I naively believed that the Galleries would not imitate these impersonal and soulless universes...
When will the Lafayette men's store, which is still a great store, be degraded?
We wonder about the initiators of these changes, actors without a grain of judgment whose training leads to regression.

Sellers who don't see you - Hello everyone,
A message for the sellers of the Lafayette galleries, Lacoste/Scott/Ralph Lauren/Weston and others, Stop looking at your cell phones and pay attention to the customers.
Every time we come, no seller calculates for us, says hello to us, or gives us information.
Aside from chatting with each other about their lives and being on their cell phones, that's all they do.
Just a big thank you to the cafeteria where the staff is pleasant, attentive and the food is good...🤘
