Perfect Garden Day - Our guides OJ & Toby were fun, knowledgeable and caring couldn’t ask for better! They made sure all of us were safe with the bikes after helping us buy our lunch in the market on our short bike ride to the picnic area by the river and then on to Monet’s house and gardens. Would not hesitate to recommend them and the Fat Tire Bicycle Tour Company. Thank you for a great day to a wonderful garden and house! Daryl & Darla

Highly recommend FAT TIRE TOURS and their wonderful guides. - LOVED the whole experience from beginning to end. Our very professional, experienced guides, OJay and Toby, regaled us with wonderful stories and historical information about Monet on our trip out to Giverny and throughout the day. They were as informed and prepared as any art historian and also delightfully funny and entertaining. They took our safety very seriously, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed (including a picnic tarp to eat our lunches on because it had rained the night before, and also ensured we understood all the directions about were to meet back up after the tour etc. Highly, highly recommend FAT TIRE TOURS and their wonderful guides. Stunning! - May25’ flowers in bloom-absolutely stunning! There were lots of people but the grounds were peaceful! I can see why Monet loved his home and gardens!

Beautiful Day at Monet’s Gardens - We enjoyed our day touring Monet’s Gardens which are spectacular. Our guides were wonderful as they were very personable, funny and attentive. While you do need to know how to ride and be comfortable on a bike, the bike ride is very easy and enjoyable. We also enjoyed the market and our picnic lunch. Overall a really pleasant day.

We had a large group. ... - We had a large group. The ride is doable for different levels of experience. If raining , they will sell you a poncho. It is NOT included. The staff is friendly and funny. The gardens were beautiful at the end of May.

Couldn’t recommend more highly - For our first trip ever to Paris, and only a few days here, I still knew I would love to see Monet’s gardens and the beauty of Giverny. This tour with fat tire tours was amazing. OJ was our guide and he absolutely made the experience. He had us laughing all day and was so attentive and kind to everyone in the group. Loved their knowledge and guidance and Giverny is stunning. So much fun!

Great way to see the more if France - We had a fabulous time today, even with cloudy skies and some sprinkles. The stop in Vernon at the farmer’s market was just charming. We picked up a great picnic lunch there and had a lovely cup cappuccino. Riding the bikes was mostly on dedicated bike paths and it was just lovely. I felt like I was 12 again. The gardens and Monet’s home are incredible. Dave and Nick took great care of us explaining the history of the area and Monet’s life. Their good nature and great sense of humor was also appreciated.

Fun tour, beautiful garden - Monet's garden was amazing! But the bike tour didn’t allow enough time in the garden itself, we felt rushed. It would have been good to have a schedule of the day - the bus to Vernon (which was very comfortable), the time in the market, the time on bikes and picnic, etc, so we could plan accordingly.

Giverny and Bike Ride - This is a fun day. The bike ride is lovely but only a small part of the day. The bus ride to Normandy was enhanced by some history, the stop to buy food was in a cute village, and touring Giverny was great. There were lots of people at Giverny when we were there so if you want to see it with less people or with a tour guide, this is not the right tour. Also, there are only 2 tour guides for 40 cyclists so on a few occasions, cyclists went the wrong way and got separated from the group or could not keep up and were left behind until one of the guides could go get them after delivering the rest of the group back to the store. They really need 1-2 more tour guides with a group this large.
