Don’t miss Monet’s gardens and home - We had a wonderful guide with Alexandra. She was fun and very knowledgeable. Our driver was good and safe. Those gardens are fantastic! We met a family traveling in our group and that added to our enjoyment of the day.

The personal driver and quick entry are the price values on this tour. The delightful gardens are really the same 4 all - We liked our driver who was on time and most cooperative and nice. The switch to a waiting tour guide—with other people’s tours —-was a surprise at Giverny. We got inside the gates quickly. However our guide would get an average score. His was just a job ,and he told Monet’s story as we moved along. He didn’t care to see the house before the later big crowd arrives, we rushed over to the lily ponds. Pretty soon my group of 3 just did our own thing. I’ve been going here for 20 years. The driver was waiting and happy to leave when we were ready. The personal driver and quick entry is the best part of this ticket fee. The delightful inside doesn’t vary much at any price.

Not worth the price. - The pond, gardens, and house themselves were fantastic. I am not the type to complain but in this situation I have some feedback for the tour company on how to improve. The guide did not speak almost at all. We had 2-3 little pieces of ok information/history, most was given only f we asked a question. He basically just led us around so we did not get lost, but we all ended getting split up anyways. We had a 10 min walk to the Church and NOTHING was said, no history etc. Also, as a company, please consider using the ear pieces on crowded days so we can hear the guide and get better instruction on how long we have in certain spots, or where to meet. In addition, having a ballon or flag to hold up would help so we don't get lost or split up. Overall, we should have just paid for transportation to Giverny and did a self-walking tour to save money.

Too many people - Giverny is a wonderful place, but it is extremely crowded. Basically, wall-to-wall people in the gardens and the house. Long lines at bathrooms and gift shop. If we knew how crowded it would be, we would have not gone.

Tour was not what we booked - We booked a tour of Monet house and gardens plus 2 hr free time in Giverny. Driver and tour guide great, Monet house magnificent but then discovered TripAdvisor lumped us in with others going to Versailles. We have been there twice before but had no choice but to go again. Once at Versailles we were taken back to our hotel. TripAdvisor site difficult to deal with and never again

Bait and switch - if they don't get enough people for the tour, they offer you a "private experience" for more money, but no tour. The guy that spoke to us for 10 minutes just kept us telling us how tired he was, and his english was very poor. there was no "skip the line" (we waited for over 35 minutes to get into the house), as promised, and there was no 15 minute stop in Versailles as promised. There was no time to walk around the village as promised - all of this in writing - so basically this was just a ride in a vehicle for a lot of money.

Did not show up - Tour guide did not show up. We were left standing in the middle of Paris at 8am. Finally after figuring out a way to get in touch by phone with Viator the guide responded and told us they were cancelling an hour late.
