Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour, your guide will be holding a green Walks sign. This tour meets at the statue next to the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel in front of the Louvre Museum, opposite the pyramid at the entrance of the Tuileries Gardens.

The amount of walking and... - The amount of walking and climbing steps. Some elderly may find it difficult as getting elevator assistance may take extra time.

Fabulous tour with Claire - Our guide Claire was excellent. We learned so much about France, the Louvre and the art we saw. The help navigating entry and the museum let us focus on the beautiful museum and art. Highly recommend

Claire was awesome! - Claire was the best tour guide for the Louvre. She was engaging, personable, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and fun. I would highly recommend doing a tour and asking for Claire directly!

The Louvre is LOUD - Let me first say, the tour was fine and the tour guide was fabulous! The guide is the only reason I stayed on the tour. I would have left 10 minutes into the Louvre if it hadn’t been for her. She was able to make learning the history of the pieces interesting and she was quite amusing, too.
That being said, the museum itself was a disaster. It was very crowded, which is expected, but, the noise level was out of control. People running down stairs, yelling to each other across rooms, talking on phones, and completely disrespectful. I’d say skip the Louvre and go to smaller museums. The Petite Palais was free, quiet, and the art was just as impressive as the art at the Louvre.

The tour guide was not... - The tour guide was not visible at meeting place and said the 8 of us were "no shows.". We were there on time! Viator would not refund--we were out 780 Euros. By the way, this was after the prearranged driver to pick us up from CDG was a no show! No more Viator for us.

Don't be a second late or the company Take walks will leave you. - On the day of our tour it was pouring rain in Paris. We have never been to Paris but were told to use the train system. While we did get better with the train as our trip went along it was still a new system to us. We ended up getting behind due to accessing a wrong train and cutting our arrival time at the louvre very close. We were suppose to arrive at 9:00AM but arrived at 9:02 and were left by the tour group Take walks. We immediately contacted viator for help and they took over an hour to find the group who claimed to have waited for us for 5 minutes which they did not. Of course they were quick to take our money and to not offer a refund. We still wanted to see the louvre and tried to use our tour tickets as a way to gain entrance to the museum and that was also unsuccessful. We then had to spend an additional $200 to get into the museum. Overall it was very poorly handled by the tour company and Viator. I would not recommend this tour or either company. We did a walking tour the day before and waited 15 minutes for the other members of our group before beginning the tour. Not waiting two minutes in my opinion is pretty harsh for paying customers.

Disappointed by Lack of Support - Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the experience. We tried to contact someone half an hour before the tour started to ask for help, as we were running late due to unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach anyone and ended up arriving just 10 minutes late.
We completely understand that tours need to start on time. However, a minimum level of support or flexibility would have been appreciated. Sadly, there was no assistance or willingness to help at all.
