Great Tour of the Louvre - We loved this tour. The Louvre is massive, and we would have been lost otherwise. Our guide was so knowledgeable, and really made the pieces of art come alive. Going later in the day also made a huge difference. We were able to walk right up to the Mona Lisa without standing in any line. It is definitely a long tour, with a lot of walking (and steps) but I highly recommend it.

Best way to do the Louvre - Violette was the perfect guide! Knowledgeable, funny, and personable, she answered every question we threw at her and moved us through all the hits in a smooth, logical order. Tour information is totally accurate; we were some of the last people in the room with the Mona Lisa at the close of the day.
If you are visiting the Louvre, book this tour- its definitely the hack. You also get fast entry.

Would book again in a heartbeat - This tour was incredible. Antoine was so knowledgeable and passionate about the exhibits that we were captivated the entire time. The headsets made it incredibly easy to hear everything and to ignore the noise of the crowds. I would recommend this experience to anyone.

Fantastic tour - Fabulous tour with Bellen. She was smart and engaging. A wealth of knowledge about art and French history. Highly recimmend! The Louvre is too big to see on your own.

5 stars! - Highly recommend! Our guide Hugo was fantastic! He is so knowledgeable! There is so much to see and he did a great job highlighting pieces and was an incredible story teller. Logistics were easy too - easy entry, locker to store our coats and bags, and way less crowded!

Violette made the tour something special - We couldn’t recommend Violette more highly. She is an entertaining, engaging and thoroughly knowledgeable art historian.
As well as pointing out the famous pieces within the museum, she pointed out many other art works that we would have otherwise potentially missed. Her knowledge of both the history of the museum and the art within it were incredible and we will look for another of Violette’s tours the next time we visit Paris.

Excellent tour, Excellent guide - Violette was fantastic. I’ve done the Louvre highlights tour several times, and she made it feel completely new. She is a deeply knowledgeable art historian and an amazing storyteller, and she explained the art in a way that made me feel like I was learning it all for the first time. She also pointed out pieces I had overlooked on past visits and tied everything together brilliantly, connecting the architecture of the Louvre with the chronology of the artworks. One of the best museum tours I’ve ever taken.

Thoroughly enjoyable - Viollette speaks clearly so use of ear piece works well. She took sufficient time to orientate the group so we knew what to expect. Clear example was to wait for closing to see Mona Lisa as no large groups would be present. Absolutely correct. She certainly knew her art pieces and added to our knowledge with questions of us.
All in all a great tour guide and someone we would ask for again.

Rent a museum audio guide instead - Our tour guide wore her microphone clipped to her lanyard and it was very difficult to hear her in the head set. We could only understand what she was saying if we were standing right next to her and took out our ear piece. We have never experienced this before. Most guides either hold the microphone to their mouth or wear a head set that has the microphone come around their face and is positioned in front of their mouth.

Louvre experience - I was extremely disappointed in this tour. We did not see many paintings. The tour guide seemed to repeat herself. I felt like I was in an art history class that would end with a pop quiz. Ive been to the Louvre before. On that tour, our guide showed us many paintings without repeating himself or discussing the same painting for 45 minutes. I wont be booking any tours anymore.
