Marais Culinary? Voilà! - A trip to the world champion of pies? Voilà! A short seminar on the quality of chocolate by one of Paris' most gifted chocolatiers? Voila! Grocery stores dedicated to just one extremely high-quality product? Voilà! Taste surprises? Voila! All just on a tour of the Marais with a highly competent food expert who you immediately notice the passion for good food. We are thrilled and have taken great inspirations (and some treats).

Brilliant time in Paris - This is a great way to spend an early evening. Zack was our tour guide and thus we were blessed with a historian and food lover rolled into one. He’s a grad student and has a deep knowledge of history, yet no academic dryness that might turn off those who have not the background to appreciate it. Learning about Paris whilst eating and drinking with someone deeply in love with the culture makes it so much better than you could do alone as a stranger here. You must do this tour. Ask for him.

Food Tour of the Marais in Paris France - Our tour guide was excellent !! Her parents had a restaurant so she knew all about the cheeses and wines and goodies that we tasted. The pickup and drop off locations were very convenient and we were lucky enough to only have 4 in our group. I think the normal is 6 anyway but that was a real plus. We walked all around the Marias and it was a good introduction to Paris. Be on time as the tour started right on time. We stopped at a great open market for cheese and wine, a chocolate shop, a macaron shop and got a lot of history about the place. It was well worth the money !!

Far too expensive - Instead of the specified eight people, eleven were present. The guide was nice and personable, but what we saw was not interesting at all. The restaurant we stayed in was average and for the very high price there was virtually nothing. The price-performance ratio was simply not right at all. In the group, apart from us, there were only Americans for whom European eating habits were interesting, but the announcement and what was delivered did not match at all.

Nice, but definitely not worth the money - A very nice and knowledgeable guide, though, but the tour was definitely not worth the money. We visited the local market, tasted some pieces of cheese there, with a glass of wine, then visited some shops, with jam, macarons, eaten a croissant on the street that was already taken by the guide, a few falafels, in a bistro some cold cuts and a few escargots, with a glass of wine. Some of the shops we only saw from the outside. We understand that not everything was possible due to covid, but all in all this was very meagre given the substantial amount we had to pay.

As written - Horrible expérience. Émilie was very Nice but she could not handle alone 14 people. We only had 5 stops instead of the promised 8 or more. The food for tasting was poor and not enough. I can not believe we paid 110 euros per person for that. It was a mistake we will not repeat

They cancelled , no refund issued - We were excited about this excursion. About 4 hours before we were supposed to meet , they called and cancelled. Because it was short notice we couldn’t book anything else. They promised to refund our $$. A month later and no refund. We’ve had to open a dispute with our credit card company. Not cool at all.

Scam Artists - The company cancelled the tour the evening before it was supposed to happen and never refunded us our money. After numerous texts with assurances from Stephane that the refund is coming, I had to get a refund through the credit card. This company is a scam, stay as far away as possible.
