Taking part in this photography expedition guarantees a deeper understanding of photography, utilizing either a camera or a smartphone, by the time you depart from Paris. I’ll be there to not only educate you on fundamental techniques and composition but also help you narrate a story through your pictures.
Montmartre, an area that has sparked creativity in artists worldwide, provides the perfect setting for photography practice. Originating at the Abbesses metro exit, I’ll take you on a tour of the region. Our route includes beautiful views of rooftops, a stunning Parisian graveyard, the renowned Pigalle district housing the Moulin Rouge, and the hidden alleys of this picture-perfect hill.

A pure moment!:))) - Great photo session spent with Clara who is not only ultra skilled in her field but also extremely patient and kind:)
She knows Paris as her pocket, adapts to the level / need / envy of all and makes us live a moment out of time!

Love Clara! - Clara was absolutely amazing and incredibly knowledgeable about both photography and the city. She took us to some fantastic photo spots and guided us through the area effortlessly. From the start, she made us feel comfortable and welcome, creating a truly wonderful experience.
As a seasoned photographer, I appreciated her insights, but it was especially meaningful to see how she interacted with my daughter, who is just beginning. Clara offered her a fresh perspective and encouragement that made a real impact.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend Clara to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching experience. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly and sharing your expertise with such grace!

We highly recommend! 🫶 - Clara is wonderful! I booked this workshop so my husband can hopefully learn to take nice photos of me on holidays! Success! We had a great time and took some great photos! We also learned about the area as we went. Clara is very knowledgeable and patient. We highly recommend her!

Informative iPhone photoshoot - Had a great time with Clara exploring Montmartre with my iPhone camera. I had been on similar adventures with my Nikon, but this was the first time I've ever worked with someone using the iPhone. Clara was patient, explaining how to compose shots and working through the iPhone's features. She let me try things on my own before offering suggestions on how the shot might be improved by a change in setup or technique. It was a delightful, educational experience that left me eager to explore more of the city with the camera.

Down to earth and super fun - This trip with Clara was honestly fantastic. I am a hobbyist with very minimal technical knowledge so Clara gave me the full “idiots guide to photography”. She has the best manner and teaching style and knows all the coolest, off-the-tourist-track places to compose the very best street scenes. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic and unique street photography experience - My partner and I had a really enjoyable couple of hours on this street photography experience with Clara. Clara met us at a convenient location in Montmartre and started off the session by asking what it was we were looking to explore in the session and our levels of experience. She then guided us around several wonderful spots around the area and offered a wealth of technical advice and composition guidance as we went about taking photos. My partner and I came away with some brilliant new insight on taking photos and feel more confident with how to go about finding a good shot. Not only this but Clara was extremely good company for the two hours and was a really wonderful guide to Paris! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or this photography experience. We are hoping to bring our cameras when we visit Paris again to continue our studies!

Street photography, rain included. - Street photography was something I wanted to try in the past. However I was always concerned how people would react to having their image taken.
Going out with Clara has probably changed that and I look forward to going solo as it were!
It was raining heavily as we began, taking shelter to discuss what my aim was to achieve in the session.
The rain stopped after 20 minutes or so, this and the darkening evening with street lighting allowed for potentially more interesting shots.
Clara clearly has knowledge and experience as a photographer, she encouraged me to try different settings on my camera and importantly to look for that image, and to consider how to capture it, from the front, side, low or high up etc
I think I managed to capture good images to work on.
The session was relaxing despite the rain, Clara allowed for questions from myself and make suggestions when I felt challenged by a particular shot. She reviewed my images giving constructive feedback.
I would recommend Clara 100% to anyone who wants to begin ir commence their journey in street photography.
Clara gave me the confidence to approach someone and ask if I could take their portrait. They agreed.

Great experience, leaned a lot! - I had a great time doing the street photography experience with Clara in Montmartre. She’s super personable and incredibly knowledgeable about photography and the area. What I loved most was that she helped me see the neighborhood in a completely different way — finding moments and subjects that most tourists would miss. I ended up with photos that feel much more authentic and unique to Paris. Clara also helped me get more comfortable with my camera settings, which was huge for me as a beginner. I learned a lot and would absolutely recommend this experience.

Patient, inspiring and knowledgeable - Clara was an amazing patient, knowledgeable and very inspiring teacher. I’m new to photography and am shy about taking photos of strangers but she was very encouraging and also gave me the technical and artistic tips on how to observe for interesting images and capture them on both my digital camera and my iPhone. I wish I had taken lessons with Clara a long time ago and I would definitely take more lessons with her in the future.

Terrific Photo Tour - I had a fantastic experience with Clara and I would highly recommend the experience. The logistics were very well managed. Clara got in touch before our meeting to discuss what I wanted to get out of the session, my level of experience, and photography style and equipment. We met without difficulty and she spent some time (re)educating me on the operation of my equipment. Then we embarked on the tour, which was excellent. Clara was a great teacher and companion, had a tour very well mapped out, and gave me helpful hints as we moved around. I would recommend the experience for photographers at any level. I'll look to schedule another tour when I'm next in Paris.
