Waited in line for ~25... - Waited in line for ~25 minutes, it was raining so had to make due. It was crowded, but not terrible. Went around 2:30 / 3 PM.

Last-Minute Musée de l’Orangerie Visit Made Easy with TripAdvisor - During our recent trip to Paris, one of our key focus areas was to visit the Musée de l’Orangerie, the renowned art museum nestled within the Tuileries Gardens. It is best known for housing Claude Monet’s eight monumental Water Lilies murals, displayed in two softly lit oval rooms. Beyond Monet’s masterpieces, the museum also showcases an exceptional collection featuring Cézanne, Matisse, Picasso, Renoir, Modigliani, Rousseau, and Soutine. Unfortunately, due to extreme heat in the early days of our trip, we couldn’t explore much outdoors and only managed to visit the museum on our last day in Paris. With just a couple of hours to spare, we were eager to make the most of it—only to be met by a long queue for on-site ticket purchases. The queue for reserved ticket holders, however, was nearly empty. Kicking myself for not booking ahead, I quickly searched the usual travel platforms like Viator, Get Your Guide, but had no luck finding same-day options. That’s when I came across this flexible ticket option through TripAdvisor. Once I opted for it, the entire process was easy, secure, and efficient—a few clicks to connect my Google account and wallet, and the tickets were delivered via WhatsApp in minutes. Within five more, we were inside the museum. I’ll definitely consider using a similar service from TripAdvisor for future last-minute bookings.

If you hesitate, it may... - If you hesitate, it may be the only way to get a ticket. Never did figure out how to get the audio synched with our exploration but can listen to it later.

Negative review - Lots of difficulties to get tickets at the entrance of the Orangery Museum, great waste of time, stress and waste of time for 3 museum employees to find tickets on Viator emails. I advise you to make the reservation on the museum website. Tour of the museum great but I had to pay an audio guide again..

It’s crowded but not as... - It’s crowded but not as bad as the Louvre. The Monet exhibits were very nice. They are so large, it’s difficult visualizing with so many people in the room.

Terrific museum, Monet was a genius! - Great museum, the visitors were clueless and constantly walked in front of paintings to take pictures of themselves. Wasn’t really the museums fault, but still distracted from the experience.

Water Lilly’s - Monet’s Water Lilly’s are absolutely amazing!! They are worth the trip there alone. They had a few things downstairs that were interesting but a bit disappointing. We had all day entry tickets and decided to get there early, there were no lines and we basically walked right in. By the time we left there were lines so I would recommend getting there early to avoid the rush.

Takes Advantage of First Time Visitors - It is important to understand the line construct at this museum to understand the value of the flexible ticket. There are three lines: city card holders which get direct access, timed ticket holders which get preferential access, and then a line for people with no tickets or flex tickets. All this purchase gets you is in the same line with people with no tickets. Our hope was this would enable us to skip the ticket line saving substantial time once inside, but the ticket line is a non-issue. From our observations, this line would take no more than 2-3 minutes as they were highly efficient. Net, we paid 10 euros extra over the base fee because we didn’t understand the line structure and were hoping this would make our lives easier. My strong recommendation is get a timed ticket or just show up without a ticket skipping this rip off. The museum itself is small but nice. It is worth visiting for the Water Lilly rooms alone so please don’t let this review discourage the visit altogether.

Purchased these tickets... - Purchased these tickets and they were not honored at the museum. Had to repurchase tickets and had a miserable experience! Will be reaching out to the company to attempt a refund for this inconvenience.
