Challenges don’t make for a bad time - After a difficult start to the day Abraham handled it with poise and showed us a great time in Normandy and Mont Saint Michel. The breakdown of the bus was not his doing and he handled it with ease. His knowledge with a bit of humor added, was amazing. Amigo Tours did well with the additional meals to get us home. Thanks to all for a great time and not cancelling because of challenges.

Normandy/Mont St Michelle - What started out as a day we worried our trip would be cancelled due to a bus issue our guide Abraham made the day a great one. We got a new bus were an hour behind but we made up the time and extended our tour.. Abraham was knowledgeable, professional and should be considered an asset for Amigo tours.. Amigo did the group right by buying us lunch and snacks for the inconvenience.. Normandy was amazing and Mont St Michelle was a sight to see. Although its a long day and decent ride fromParis. I recommend this tour for anyone who has an extra full day to get away and take in some history a d beautiful French countryside views..

It's a must day trip from Paris - It's a long day trip from Paris, but the experience is worth it. Our guide and bus driver were excellent, and we had time to walk around the sites.

Good day trip from Paris! - It’s a good day trip from Paris. Cristina was amazing and friendly and the bus was comfortable. However there was a technical problem with the bus and the tour started an hour later which did not give enough time to explore the Omaha beach and the nearby bunkers. Trip to Mont Saint Michel was lovely. It is important to note that this is not a fully guided tour. There is some commentary on the bus but it is not the typical guided tour.

Normandy and Mont Saint Michel Excursion - Loved Mont Saint Michel! We also went to Normandy Beach. We saw a few memorials and some old bunkers. A long excursion but well worth going on it.

A great day trip from Paris! - We would have liked to have a bit more time at Omaha Beach and the bunkers. We had to rush back to meet the group on time. This may have been necessary on our day since the tour started an hour late due to a bus problem (which was resolved and we appreciated the complimentary bakery snack as amends for the late start.). The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Loved getting set up What’s Ap so that communication was seamless. Also appreciate the articles sent to us about the places. I liked the way the bus ride was broken up into intros and then some quiet rest time and time to just take in the French countryside. I would have appreciated getting a bit more background information narrated by the host about the sites. Christina did provide some background information, but I would have liked a bit more. Then again, i’m kind of a history nerd. All in all, it was a fabulous trip. I’m glad the hosts warned us about the weather. Both places were are quite exposed to the elements and I’m glad I brought a stocking cap and umbrellas.

Excellent French tour experience - This was a great tour! Cristina was our guide and Yassine was our driver. Both were great! Cristina could move seamlessly between speaking multiple languages which was helpful. The tour provides a lot of wonderful opportunities to see the D-Day beaches and Mont Saint-Michel. We learned some great things and got some great pictures!

Abraham, with the beautiful hair, leads us to Omaha Beach and Mount Saint Michel - I enjoyed this experience. We got on into a rocky start; the information said the guide would be in front of the hotel (15 of us were waiting there). However, the bus was on the side of the property. The original bus was not working so a smaller vehicle was sent for us. However, this was not large enough for all passengers. We had to wait for a new bus. An hour later, we were all set. Passengers were frustrated, irritated, and concerned we would miss out on a portion of the trip. Our guide, Abraham, was so delightful. He really saved the day! The issues were not his fault and he never spoke poorly of the tour company. We stopped at a gas station for a bathroom stop and a meal, if desired. We drove to Omaha Beach. Beautiful and so sad. We went inside several WW2 bunkers. Off we went to Mount St Michel. Beautiful!! Pay the extra for a ticket to the abbey- it’s well worth it! Weather can change quickly- be prepared for cold, rain, and lots of sunshine! The streets of MSM have several restaurants for a variety of prices. Most of the shops seem to sell the same items. Public bathrooms are available for €1. We stopped at a gas station on the return to Paris. A very long day- much travel time. Bring something to occupy your travel time - probably 6+ hours in a bus. It is well worth the expense and time. Our driver was wonderful. If I could add one item to the trip it would be to visit the cemetery for the soldiers. We were not far away- it would have been a good way to conclude the Omaha Beach portion of the trip.

Need an English speaking tour guide… since that’s what we paid for - Fernando was a nice guy... BUT he doesn’t speak English. In fact, he asked my wife to translate for him from Spanish to English… which is ridiculous! We use Viator for all our excursions, and this was by far the worst (even other tourists commented the same). We feel we missed out on all the Normandy DDay Omaha Beach history because Fernando could not tell us anything! Totally unacceptable!! We would like a full reimbursement or full credit for future use with Viator. So disappointed!!
