⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Frederic and Le Foodist — A Masterclass in French Culinary Art - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Frederic and Le Foodist — A Masterclass in French Culinary Art If you do only one cooking experience in Paris, make it this one. From the moment we walked in, the setting took our breath away — immaculately appointed, professionally equipped, and spotlessly clean. It feels less like a cooking class and more like stepping into a proper Parisian culinary atelier. We enrolled just the evening before, and the Le Foodist team accommodated us seamlessly without missing a beat — that kind of gracious hospitality sets the tone immediately. The recipes were approachable yet genuinely delicious — the kind you can actually recreate at home and feel proud of. We left not just inspired but confident. But the true star of the experience is Frederic. He is, quite simply, the ultimate teacher — polished, clever, and effortlessly charming. He knows precisely when to bring the laughter and when to slow down and reveal the finer points of French technique with real mastery. His passion for his craft is contagious. We went home with full bellies, hearts full of joy, and minds full of culinary knowledge we cannot wait to bring back to our own kitchen. Bravo Frederic. Bravo Le Foodist. Paris, you never disappoint. 🥖🇫🇷

Family of 5 - Amazing experience. Stephane was our host, really crazy we had a chef with Michelin star experience teach us how to make macarons. He was really good with kids and engaging in general. My kid’s ages are 8, 10, and 13, all loved the experience. Not to mention we had boxes of macarons for the rest of the trip.

Fun with great teaching chef - Our teacher was a vastly experienced pastry chef who also made everyone feel comfortable. The class was in a professional kitchen. Cool, fun and I will try macarons at home soon.

Great experience - Our family had a great time! Didn’t really know going in who would be teaching the class. Turns out that Stephon, the instructor, had been a pastry chef in some of the world’s best restaurants. He was very friendly and a great teacher. He also provided a restaurant recommendation for our neighborhood that turned out great. When we shared our leftover macarons with the staff at our hotel, they were shocked we made them they were so perfect.

This is a great Parisian baking activity! - I love to bake and spending the afternoon with Stephan at the macaron baking class was wonderful. Stephan went through the steps and it was fun to be with others learning the process. Our adult kids also enjoyed the experience. Thanks Viator for another great travel activity!

Oh what fun in Paris!! - My husband surprised my daughter and me with this class, and I’m so glad he did. It was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is charming and spotlessly clean. The kitchen and prep areas are well organized and easy to move around in, and there are at least two inviting dining spaces where you can sit down and enjoy what you’ve made. Our class was small—just six people—which felt perfect for learning and asking questions. We learned a lot of techniques (for macarons and cooking in general) and we all left the session confident we could make the macarons again at home! Once our macarons were finished, we moved to a beautifully set table and enjoyed freshly brewed coffee, tea, and our macarons! We made a lot of macarons so we also walked out with a box to share with our family! It was such a welcome break from sightseeing and the hustle and bustle of Paris—a little cooking paradise where you can relax, learn, and eat very well. Highly recommend!
