Evening Cruise with Festive Ambiance - We had a charming evening cruise just before Christmas. Rather than the typical narration, we enjoyed holiday music throughout the journey, which created a wonderfully festive atmosphere. The attentive staff made sure we were well taken care of. The location is incredibly convenient if you're visiting the Musée d'Orsay—the boat docks just steps away from the museum. Pro tip: book your museum tickets with timed entry in advance to make the most of your day. We splurged on the window seat upgrade, which does require booking outside the TripAdvisor platform, but it was worth it for the views. One heads-up: the cocktails were disappointing, so I'd suggest ordering wine or soft drinks instead. Overall, a pleasant way to see Paris from the water, especially during the holiday season. The combination of festive music, good service, and the Seine's iconic views made for a memorable evening.

Mix up in the tab - The cruise had good food and service was good Was a relaxing cruise with great view of Eiffel Tower The problem was the tab came I glanced and didn’t recognize some charges We looked and asked and figured out we were charged again for window seats even though we had paid that in advance when we boarded as we were told to pay there and we did Then when he brought a new bill over and said they removed it he put a number on the credit card app that was still higher and he said that includes a tip for the cruise at a flat amount based on the cruise price which we never said to do but we paid it anyhow

Bad organization of TripAdvisor. - When we arrived, our reservation was not saved it was not transmitted to the boat, do not book again with TripAdvisor, we thought we were a scam, you had to make phone calls for 15 minutes in the freezing cold to unblock the situation.

This is NOT a reliable tour operator. - This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Viator booking. I’ve been using Viator to book tours for years, but this dinner cruise operator is by far the worst company I’ve dealt with. I booked the dinner cruise at 2:00 p.m. for the 6:45 p.m. departure the same day. I arrived at the dock around 6:15 p.m. and saw about 10 other people waiting. I started to feel something was wrong because normally the boat should arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. I even checked other docks to make sure we were at the correct location. At 6:45 p.m., there was no boat. By 6:50 p.m., another customer shared a WhatsApp number for the operator. When I contacted them, they claimed that since I booked at 2:00 p.m., they had already sent out a notice that the meeting point and time had changed. However, other people there said they had booked days, weeks, and even two months in advance. So this was not just a last-minute booking issue. It felt like they were not being truthful. No one knew where to go or what was happening. I contacted Viator customer service. The chat representative was helpful, but even he couldn’t reach the operator. He said they would need to send a request to the operator before issuing a refund. If the operator does not respond within 72 hours, the refund will be processed automatically. Overall, this was extremely disappointing and a complete hassle.

Misadventure - Booking cancel without being informed. Telephone exchange with the provider a first time who maintains our reservation and telling us that it was just the navigation that had been cancelled. I call the provider a second time who tells us that this application (tripvasior) had cancelled our reservation. I contact the application which tells us that it is the provider had cancelled our reservation. We had not received any notification, and on our app it was maintained, so we proceeded to cancel ourselves. I contact the app again and tell us that we would not be refunded because we cancelled on our own and the same day. I explain the situation to the application that asks the claimant for a refund. Which was done. Be careful not to be fooled and contact 1 day or 2 before the D-day to confirm your reservation. To prevent your stay from sucking.

BIG SCAM!!! THIEVES!!! - I had taken a table for me and a friend for more than a hundred euros, without warning they are cancelled for all other customers except me and they won't refund me!!! Luckily the tripadvisor customer service to fix the problem and I was able to get refunded!!

Terrible!!! Due to Viator - This is the **WORST** experience I have had when traveling. I booked for 4 adults (two adults and my 14 yo kids). Confirmed per usual for 1/1/26. On Christmas Day 12/25/25 I was sent a message via Viator app that it was cancelled and to reply with a request to be rescheduled. I did not get an email, call or text. It was via the Viator app. There was no notification from the Viator app that I had a message unless I opened the app, which I would not open on a regular basis. I check my email regularly which was how the excursion was confirmed. On 12/31/25 I get an TEXT confirming the reservation. So to me it still appears to going well. WHY WOULD I GET A TEXT FROM Viator CONFIRMING THE RIVER CRUISE IF THEY SENT ME A CANCELATION MESSAGE VIA THE APP on Christmas Day 6 DAYS PRIOR?!? So on 1/1/26 the day of the cruise I try to Dow load the tickets, am unable to do so, after many attempts of clicking on multiple links that went in circles I then open the app and see there is a message from Christmas Day canceling the cruise. I call the number in the original confirmation email and am connected with Paris City Vision the local Paris office that books the cruises and they tell me they can put us in the next day 1/2/26 at 2115 (instead of our original 1815 time). I accept this compromise and they said they would email directly with confirmation and tickets which I receive a few hours later afternoon of 1/1/26. Exhausted, I thought this issues was resolved. HOWEVER, WHEN I DOWNLOAD THE TICKETS THE NEXT DAY 1/2/26, I SEE TWO TICKETS FOR 2 ADULTS AND THE TICKETS ARE **EXACTLY** THE SAME. I call them again to see if it is 2 exact same tickets for 2 adults each for 4 adults total but they tell me it is IN FACT DUPLICATE TICKET FOR ONLY 2 ADULTS TOTAL. So they replaced my 4 tickets from 1/1/26 with 2 tickets for 1/2/26. THEY COULD NOT ADD 2 MORE BECAUSE THE CRUISE WAS FULL!!! We leave the next morning and they do not have any more opportunities to go on a river cruise after flying 1/2 way around the world. ZERO STARS!!! STAY AWAY!!! TERRIBLE!!! THE VIATOR CUSTOMER SERVICE with this cruise operator is HORRIBLE!!!
