Exploring the centre of Paris - Where do you start when visiting Paris? It is the most beautiful city in the world. And even though it is the smallest of the major cities, it has more museums and Michelin-starred restaurants than any city in the world. So let's begin by exploring the centre of Paris. Historical, vibrant, eclectic and full of surprises, it embodies French culture, architecture, luxury and art. Not to mention a wide variety of gourmet food outlets and restaurants. Must-see sites in the centre of Paris are the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sainte Chapelle, Pompidou Centre, Tuileries Gardens and the Musee de L'Orangerie, which houses Claude Monet's famous paintings of water lilies. Take a lunch break at Michelin-starred chef Guy Martin's Le Grand Vefour, which has been satisfying hungry Parisians for 200 years. For shoppers, world famous brands in luxury and fashion can be found on rue Saint-Honore while the most prestigious jewelers are in place Vendome. The Marshall Field's or Macy's of Paris is the Samaritaine Paris Pont-Neuf, a superlative shopping experience that combines fashion, beauty and gourmet food in a 20,000-square-foot department store. Don't miss the flower market on the Ile de la Cite, which features covered pavilions brimming with plants, cut flowers and orchids that has brought joy to plant lovers since l830.

Best Guide in Paris! - Georgia is a brilliant, knowledgeable, enthusiast guide and we were so lucky to get her! Georgia packed an incredible amount of information into the tour while remembering everyone’s name and making all feel included, from the oldest to the youngest. Georgia was also patient: we were late because our cabbie dropped us off in the wrong spot. Georgia texted us directly and was able to guide us to her location. Any other guide would probably have left without us. Some of us also did not know we needed our shoulders covered to enter Notre Dame, and on the way there she found a shop where we could purchase scarves. Georgia expertly mixed political, social, architectural, cultural and religious history painting a 360 degree view of Paris around Notre Dame, and even showed us the best place in Paris to buy cream puffs. My family and I would follow Georgia anywhere in Paris. Highly recommended!!!
