He was tremendously... - He was tremendously knowledgeable about wine, its history and how it affects what we taste today. He was engaging, friendly and passionate about what he does. We learned a great deal in the time we were there. Well worth it.

An Unforgettable Wine Experience with Nico! - We had an amazing experience at Paris Wine Co with Nico! He’s an incredible teacher — we learned so much about wine, from understanding why it tastes the way it does to pairing it with food. Nico’s explanation of appellations and terroirs changed the way we approach wine entirely. Plus, I’ll never hold my glass the old way again! The session was both fun and incredibly educational. If you’re just looking to drink without learning, this may not be for you — Nico’s expertise is worth every bit of attention. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to truly understand wine and its rich history!

It's true, this is the only wine tasting you should do in Paris! - Nicolas was a wonderful, informative, and entertaining sommelier for this, really, the only wine tasting you should do in Paris! The pairing of cheeses to wines was exceptional, and the wines themselves were top-notch. You walk away with an education and a truely enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Best wine tasting EVER! Amazing Wine, Amazing Food, Amazing Host - also AMAZING VALUE - This was the best wine tasting we’ve ever done. We had an amazing time here with a great selection of French wines and cheeses to try, but on top of this we also learnt a great deal from the host. Thankfully we had a 1 on 1 tasting thanks to no other bookings on the day, and this was a great result. Nicos (apologies if there is a misspelling) truly is an expert when it comes to wine and to teaching others about it. Friendly, informal, hugely insightful, and overall a great celebration of French wine and winemaking as a whole! You’ll feel like an expert Sommelier who has travelled around all areas of France after leaving this wine tasting. We ate, we drank, we learnt, and we laughed. The best thing was that it was at such a great price! If you have a free day in Paris and you love learning about and drinking wine, this is essential. Recommended for couples, families, friends, old and young, any nationality!

Wine and cheese education - An abundance of information about wine, wine characteristics, how to taste, how to evaluate wine, matching wine to cheese and foods. A taste of multiple cheeses matched with wines was experienced.

Felt dumb going in, felt like a genius coming out - I went here with my father and my brother and the host was incredible. Don’t come here if you just expect to drink a bunch of wine and leave, because this is more than that. This was more of a class, where the extremely knowledgeable host teaches you how to properly appreciate and select different wines. The host was very accommodating and we had just a great time learning about everything. You must try this experience if you like wine and find yourself in Paris!

First class educative session - A high class review of and learning about wines in general and French varieties in particular. Over around three hours, we were given six very good sized samples, some excellent cheese and bread to accompany them and a most interesting education. This wouldn't be quite as appropriate for the really casual drinker, I think. There were only two of us taking part: I think it would have been even more interesting if more of us had been there to chat and share our thoughts.
