Yes, this is the BEST Small Group Tour - Marius was an excellent guide. He is a wonderful ambassador for France who told us engaging stories, had a friendly personality, and had a passion for art. He is definitely an asset to Blue Fox Tours.
He drove the comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle safely all day and was considerate and thoughtful at every stop.
It was a very hot day, and Marius thoughtfully provided opportunities to grab a coffee, a juice, or to replenish our water bottles.
He was highly knowledgeable about Claude Monet’s life and art history. Versailles and Giverny are must-sees for tourists, and we are glad we found this tour that allowed us to do both in one day.
We had a wonderful experience seeing Monet’s resting place, his home, and his garden. The Palace at Versailles and the beautiful musical water fountain in the gardens were unforgettable. We were taken to a wonderful lunch spot, La Place, a crepe restaurant in Versailles. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and well located near the Palace.
We love small group tours and enjoyed lunch with our table of only six, with visitors from Australia and the USA.
We had a fabulous day. Don’t do any more research; book this tour with Blue Fox!!

Giverny and Versailles - Versailles Timed Entrance Ticket and Giverny Small Group Day Trip from Paris - This tour took us to some wonderful places around Paris. We started with Giverny, where Monet created his magic and interpretation of nature. The second half was dedicated to Versailles Palace and the Garden. Our driver and guide was Farim and he did a great job. A must tour for all.

The only way to do Versailles! - Our favorite tour while visiting Paris! The day was perfect and our guide was amazing. I'm telling all our friends they NEED to book this tour if they are visiting Paris.

Long, fantastic day! - Two bucket list stops for our family and had a very enjoyable time. Guide (Michel) was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and extremely considerate of some members of our group that were not moving as quickly as the rest of the group.

Versailles tour - We had a great experience at Monet’s home in Giverny, Versailles, and Marie Antoinette’s small castle! Our tour for 8 only ended up having 4 people (my daughter and I being 2 of the 4), so it felt very personalized. We were able to walk right next to our guide and ask questions. Matthieu was fantastic! [One thing just to note is that the tour guide cannot go with you into the castles/homes (but does do an excellent job in the gardens and can answer questions in between stops). It’s my understanding that this isn’t unique to this tour - any private tour guides cannot lead tours inside the castle.]

Great Day in France! - Nikolai was on time, very nice and went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable. We were told doing both of these stops in one day was a lot, but it worked out really well. I would recommend!

Wonderful - Giverny Must See! - Marius was a wonderful tour guide! Explained everything at each location and made us lunch reservations prior to entering Versailles. Showed us even more in the gardens once we saw the Hall of Mirrors. Highly recommend taking a tour with Marius!

Overall good experience - Giverny and Versailles were amazing- definitely a must-see. Our tour guide was nice and told us a bit about each location we went to but also left us to explore on our own which we enjoyed. Taking off one star because when booking, it specifically states that you CANNOT be late/ they will not wait for you if you’re late, but in our tour group one of the participants was over 20 min late when the rest of us were 15 min early. So we had a late start when she should have been left behind so we didn’t have to waste so much time. The same woman wondered off a few times, making the what would have been an 8 hour day trip into 10 hours. I know that certainly isn’t the guide’s fault, but if you emphasize that you MUST be on time to participate, that policy should be enforced.

Giverny - Our guide Tim was a very nice, personable young man. However we were expecting more -- a guided tour, not just a driver. He took us TO Giverny and Versailles but once we arrived we
were mostly on our own except the cemetery in Giverny and the garden at Versailles.

Friendly Tour Guide but wanting more. - While Phillipe was friendly and told us some history and backstory about Versailles, he did not walk with us through the museum and left us on our own. We got a bit lost and felt our expound have been more interesting if our guide had taken us through the museum.
Philippe took us through the gardens and told us a bit of history but kept quizzing us which we found annoying and a waste of time. We came to learn and see and this tour left us wanting more.
