Versailles by bicycle is the best! - We did this with our two teenagers daughters and had an absolute blast. I’ve visited Versailles before but by bicycle made it so much more fun. Our experience of meeting in Paris made the trip very simple. Our guide Cedric was incredibly knowledgeable and laid back and kept us moving. The palace is incredible but bicycles really allow you to explore the grounds and Trianon palaces more thoroughly a great (!!) experience all around!

Excellent - This was a great tour! I am so glad we chose to do a bike tour. There is really no other way to explore the grounds as extensively since Versailles is huge. Our guide, Marley, was fun but also extremely knowledgeable and we walked away with a new understanding of French history that we were not expecting. It is a long day and pretty tiring (and even though we were on bikes, it does involve a lot of walking) but 100% worth it. Do it!

Versailles Bike Tour with large group - We took our university study abroad group (20 total) on the bike tour of Versailles with Bike about Tours. Our tour guide, Jude, was simply the best! He gave us great insight to the gardens, the hamlet, the trianons, and other aspects of Versailles. We were able to enjoy beautfiul scenery while on our bikes and finished our day by entering the palace (without tour guide). This worked well for us, because the students were able to explore on their own. The transportation from the Paris cafe to Versailles and back was also seamless, thanks to this group. The bikes were in great shape and ncluded a basket to hold belongings. Highly recommend, for both small and large groups!

Wonderful way to experience the beauty of Versailles gardens. - Cedric was the best! His knowledge of French history made our trip so enjoyable. During our walk to the train we also got a nice historical walking tour through that part of Paris. The bike tour through Versailles was awesome. Loved the opportunity to see so much and again Cedric’s commentary made the trip perfect. We had a leisurely lunch in the shade by the Grand Canal before we rode to explore more of the gardens and pirate buildings. I had been to Versailles before and took the train through the gardens, but missed so much of what we experienced on this tour. I would give it a 10 of that was on the scale!

Best Way to See Versailles - Turned a fun day trip to Versailles into the highlight of our vacation. We loved seeing Versailles by bike — first of all, Versailles is huge, and there’s no way we would’ve made it out to Le Petit Trianon on foot. Plus, stopping at the market to buy picnic ingredients and then eating it next to the Grand Canal in the sunshine? Unreal. Cedric was an awesome tour guide and gave us the perfect amount of historical facts/context without overwhelming at each stop. The group was extremely chill. Overall, we had a blast and we would absolutely recommend this tour to everyone visiting Versailles/Paris!

Favorite tourist experience ever! - We just got back from Paris and I have to say our bike tour of Versailles was one of my favorite parts of the trip. It was just the right combination of biking, walking and relaxing (picnic with food purchased at the amazing farmer's market). Our guide (Rachel) was knowledgeable, fun and easy to talk to. We lucked out and only had 2 other couples on our tour which probably made it an even better experience. Highly recommend!

Great way to explore Versailles - We enjoyed this tour very much and our guide Allan was friendly and informative. The only issue we had was my wife’s bicycle chain kept falling off during the tour. Other than that we enjoyed the tour very much.

Bike tour of Versailles - It's a bike tour that also has a lot of walking. Pedometer registered 8.9 miles at the end. Bike ride was about 10 miles. Market we stopped doesn't take credit cards so bring cash. Advertised as 8.5 hours. Started at 8:15. At 4 we were just going into the Palace. Unfortunately for us we had to be back for a dinner and still had to spend an hour get back to the starting point. So we had to skip the main event. Plan on longer. Tour guide was excellent. We would have liked less walking more biking and time to see the palace. Should advertise it as 8.5 hours ends in Versailles not at the starting point. Scenery was beautiful. Skip the long walking farm part and head to the Palace. Book an e bike tour if you tire easily.
