- Athirappilly Falls - Guests will be collected in the morning from their hotel in Kochi for a 2-hour journey to Athirapilly Falls. As the waterfall nears, be on the lookout for wild elephants in the area, as they are part of the local wildlife.
Athirapilly Falls is the largest waterfall in Kerala, cascading down 80 feet in multiple parallel streams to join the River Chalakudy. The waterfall flows around large rocks before tumbling into the river. The force of the waterfall is so strong that the water’s turbulence continues for nearly a mile as the river meanders towards the nearby Thumburmuzhi dam. During the monsoon season, the waterfall is at its most powerful and awe-inspiring.
- Vazhachal Waterfalls - Located just 3 miles away at the entrance of the Sholayar forest ranges, the Vazhachal waterfall is equally stunning. The surrounding forest is home to numerous bird species and is the only place in India where four endangered Hornbill species coexist. For those seeking adventure, there is a hiking trail down the mountain to the waterfall’s base.
Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant (beverages not included). Following lunch, guests will be driven back to Kochi and dropped off at their hotel.
