Fabulous twilight snowshoe - We had the most incredible experience with Mountain Vista Touring! We booked a twilight snowshoe to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. Our guides, Melissa and Alisha, were absolutely excellent — professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the evening with. They made everyone feel comfortable and kept the energy upbeat while also creating a peaceful, magical atmosphere out on the snow. The highlight was when they surprised us with sparklers and brownies to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was such a thoughtful, personal touch that made the night feel truly special and unforgettable. The twilight setting was beautiful, the experience was perfectly paced, and the entire evening felt seamless. We can’t recommend Mountain Vista Touring — and especially Melissa and Alisha — highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

The best way to end a ski trip - We did a hike with Mountain Vista last year, and loved it so much we did it again this year! We skied for four days and wanted to end our trip with more snow but less equipment. We did a 2 hour snowshoe hike along trails above the old town section of Park City and it was wonderful! Our guide took us through woods, up and down slopes with beautiful vistas and scenery. She was very attentive to our level of endurance. During the hike, she pointed out items of historical value and local interest. We got a great cardio workout on a beautiful day, learned a lot and enjoyed Penguin, her dog.

Forest bathing in Park City mountains - We came to Park City to ski, but since arrived in early afternoon, decided to try something different - snowshoeing in the forest. And what a great chose it was! Jen greeted us at the Oregon mine trail head close to Deer Valley, had the snowshoes for us and we took off! From the beginning of the hike Jen treated us like we were best friends! From her we learned a lot about the history of the area, silver and steel mining, mine networks, local birds, wild animals, beautiful aspen trees and much more! We hiked through the mountains and had different views of Deer Valley and also Park City ski resorts, all explained and duly noted! It was amazing walk and chat in the woods! After our hike, Jen gave us a ride back to Canyons Village where we are staying! And more! My husband managed to loose his glove during our hike… But the next day, Jen went to the same trail and found it! And even delivered it to our hotel!!! The trip could not have been more personal than this!!! If you have couple hours to spare, do it!

Really fun tour! - This was a great tour! My daughter and I didn’t have a lot of time to escape to the mountain for some fun in the snow, so this was just perfect for us. We had the 9am tour which was perfect because we had the mountain all to ourselves for the first hour or so, with its freshly fallen snow, before the other groups started arriving. It really felt magical. Alisha and her dog, Penguin, were great guides and made our first snowshoeing experience a really fun one!

Disappointing and not informative - I was expecting a guided tour, but what I got was just a walk on a snow covered trail. The guide provided no interesting facts about the area, no history, and no insight into the surroundings – just silence and occasional small talk. Definitely not worth the cost. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for an educational or engaging experience.

Disappointing and Not Informative - I was expecting a guided tour, but what I got was just a walk on a snow-covered trail. The guide provided no interesting facts about the area, no history, and no insight into the surroundings—just silence and occasional small talk. If I wanted to take a quiet walk in the snow, I could have done that for free. Definitely not worth the cost. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for an educational or engaging experience.
