See how parmigiana Reggiano cheese is made, at the dairy - You’ll learn about how good quality cheese is made. From the cows, to milk to cheese. Our guide was very informative; we were able to see the entire process. Absolutely worth it. We sampled various aged cheese and there a noticeable difference in better (older) cheese.

Good but pricey - I thought it was a very nice tour. You could see a lot of what was being done around the process of the cheese. It was indicated that it would take 2 hours, but after 45 minutes it was already finished. I therefore found it very pricey

essential if you like real parmigiano! - Visit of a family cheese factory with a very friendly and really interesting guide. We learned a lot about this authentic process. And what a job! And what patience to pamper the wheels for years.

Parma itself is lovely and quiet and a good change from the crowds of Florence/Venice. But this tour? So fun and interesting. Our tour group included two preschoolers and two teens, and everyone was engaged and included. Meeting the people who literally make the food items, particularly having the man who owned the parma ham company slice our tastings on an antique slicer he'd been given as a wedding gift decades ago!

Amazing morning - Had an amazing morning on this fantastic little tour. We were picked up on time by our fabulous tour guide George (aka Sergio) who was very friendly. Lovely short car ride through beautiful countryside to reach the Dairy. Beautiful setting and amazing tour following the full journey from cow to store! George also gave our tour and demonstrations and was so knowledgable and personable, a real asset to the team. The tasting at the end was fantastic and they have a little farm shop where you can buy delicious cheese from the cheesemaster himself. Highly recommend!
