This tour offers an almost complete 360-degree experience of Bhutan, perfect for nature and bird enthusiasts. As the journey progresses, travelers will witness a transition in vegetation from the hemlock and cool broadleaf forests in the west to the warm broadleaf forests in the east, and finally to the subtropical forests in the south.
Participants will pass through some of the kingdom’s premier birdwatching locations. The itinerary includes a 26-kilometer stretch between Sengor and Yongkola, renowned among birdwatchers as the “Birding Capital of the World.”
There is a chance to spot several endangered bird species such as the White-bellied Heron and Baer’s Pochard, along with vulnerable species like the Rufous-necked Hornbill, Black-necked Crane, and Satyr Tragopan, among others.
The tour also features jungle camping, a day hike through a national park, and visits to local villages. Additionally, cultural sightseeing and the famous Tiger’s Nest hike are included to ensure a comprehensive experience.
