Passa Quatro - After enjoying the sunrise, breakfast will be served before beginning the descent from Three States Peak. The journey will lead to ‘Alto dos Ívos’ and conclude with a view of ‘Picú de Itamonte’ Peak in the same city. The group will then return to Passa Quatro (Minas Gerais State), completing the Serra Fina Crossing Expedition, renowned as Brazil’s most challenging and comprehensive trekking route. The adventure concludes with a transfer back to your accommodation in Rio de Janeiro.

Serra Fina mountain rage is located in the triple border of the states of Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, in Brazil along the Serra da Mantiqueira mountains.
The Serra Fina Crossing has one of the largest topographic differences in the Brazilian territory, above 2,000m, and the highest point of the mountain range, Pedra da Mina, is the fourth higher point in Brazil and has a height of 2,798m.
Considered one of the most difficult crossings in Brazil, the Serra Fina has fewer water points during the crossing, many hours of walking a day in stretches of great differences and requires high level of endurance and physical exertion.
The trekking takes 04 trekking days to be covered, with approximately 32 km.
We will start and finish our Adventure in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
- Minimum age is 18 years;
- Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions;
- A high amount of walking (moutain trekking) is involved;
- Good physical condition is required for the activity.
- Each participant will carry a minimum of 4 liters of water in their onw backpacks.

- Trekking requires good experience in mountain trekking and wild camping;
- Temperatures at night can reach -5ºc, being important to check the equipmentto be carried.
