The JEATH museum showcases photographs and illustrations depicting the living conditions of prisoners of war (POWs) during that harsh period, with some contributions from surviving former POWs. The museum building itself was converted from a detention hut used during that time.
• Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram - Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram, also known as Wat Tai, is a historic temple cherished by the people of Kanchanaburi province. In ancient times, the Thai army gathered many soldiers here to participate in a ceremony to establish a shrine honoring the guardian angel. Travelers will enjoy a 45-minute Thai-style, long-tailed boat ride from here to Wat Tham Khao Poon, taking in the beautiful scenery of the River Kwai.
• Wat Tham Khao Pun - Wat Tham Khao Pun is a cave temple featuring an intriguing labyrinth of illuminated passageways.
