The trip continues to Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, a prime spot for observing the Canyon and the magnificent flight of the Condor.
Afterward, return to the town of Chivay for lunch and enjoy a leisurely stroll through its charming streets. At 2:00 pm, the drive back to Arequipa begins, with a stop at Patapampa (4800m), the highest point between Colca Canyon and Arequipa, offering views of the volcanic mountain range. Expect to arrive back at your accommodation in Arequipa around 5:00 pm.

We will collect you from your lodging in Arequipa at roughly 03:00am to embark on our expedition to one of the most profound canyons in the world. The journey involves taking the Yura route, skirting the Chachani mountain, which leads us towards Pampa Cañahuas, a habitat populated by the elegant South American camelid, the vicuña. We project to reach the village of Chivay at about 6:00 a.m., where we can refresh with breakfast before continuing our journey for approximately one hour to Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, a prime viewing spot for the Canyon and the breathtaking flight of the Condor. We will loop back to the town of Chivay for a midday meal and a chance to relax while exploring the local streets. We initiate our journey back to Arequipa at 2:00 pm, making a stop at Patapampa (4800m), the highest point between the Colca Canyon and Arequipa where we’ll catch sights of the volcanic mountain range. By 5pm, we aim to return to your stay in Arequipa.
