Lagoon Rocotuyok, is beautiful and a place you can not stop going - Laguna Rocotuyok is located in the Carhuaz district of the Cordillera Blanca. Tours usually include her to meet her. In my case, I went with my own car and the recommendation is to go in 4x4. The road is lonely but with a wonderful view. The Lagoon is 4470 meters above sea level so you have to go well warm. It has spectacular turquoise waters and has snowfall so close that it is beautiful to admire. We were lucky enough for it to snow and it was so magical. Walk forward, you reach the Frozen Lagoon at the foot of the glacier. On site, there are people selling coke mate and some snacks. The cell phone signal doesn't come and they only get cash. There are also hygienic services

If you don’t speak Spanish, please think twice before booking this tour - I was the only person on the bus who didn’t speak Spanish. Apart from a short explanation in English at the beginning about the day’s schedule, the guide spent the entire journey giving commentary only in Spanish. Eventually I use chatGPT as my guide. I paid the same price as everyone else (and more compared to booking directly in town), yet I didn’t receive the same level of service. The tour description says they have English & Spanish speaking guides but it’s not true. if the tour cannot provide proper English service, please do not advertise it.
