Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with local music and dance. Following the warm reception, activities in the fields will commence. Participants will have the chance to engage in local agriculture, with potatoes and quinoa being the most common crops. They will learn about Inca techniques for planting, harvesting, storing, and transporting crops.
There will be opportunities to feed and care for animals, and occasionally, guests can milk the cows owned by the host family. Additionally, local women will demonstrate traditional weaving skills and the use of natural dyes to create textile products for sale at local markets.
The experience will be complemented by a lunch featuring an organic meal. The return to Cusco is expected around 4:00 PM.
