Wonderful experience to get familiar with the art of capoeira and learn the basics - We booked a capoeira class at Associaçao de Capoeira Mestre Bimba. As complete beginners, we were first taught the basics before going into some more challenging work. Our teacher was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we got our heads around the different exercises. The class is a lot of fun and a great way to learn more about the art of capoeira. Be ready to sweat, because this class is some great exercise.

Must do! - Incredible experience, especially combined with samba. Yasmin was a fantastic, fun and patient teacher. 10/10, expect to get sweaty!

10/10 experience - 10/10 experience! They were very nice and helpful. Before the lesson, they told us about the history of the place and capoeira itself. We were beginners and this was our first experience with capoeira. Because of this place it definitely wont be our last, it was a lot of fun. It was intens and exhausting, but we had a blast. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

Ginga! - Gone two days ago. Capoeira is a really spectacular dance-fight, doing even one lesson, as an absolute beginner, gave me a glimpse into this wonderful culture. The show is really nice, engaging and fun, I was also called by the audience to "fight" against the master. Thanks also to the girl who had the patience to teach us some steps. "Ginga." I highly recommend this school if you want to see some capoeira

Fun sweaty joy!! - This was so fun! Joyful, yet challenging in all the best ways. This was a wonderful introduction to samba and capoeira. We took both classes back to back. Our instructors were kind, knowledgeable, and passionate!!! You will get sweaty so dress appropriately! Don’t miss this awesome class!

Capoeira basics - Excellent! We took the 1 hour class and we thought it would be too short but it was intense! And we loved it as we went through many basics!
The teacher only speaks portuguese but it really feels authentic!
We definitely recommend!
