Nice experience to learn traditional samba - It was fun to try the samba class. On the day, they also had a male teacher so we learnt the male steps while the ladies learnt the other steps. It was a fun class for beginner. It’s not a class where you’ll learn everything step by step or getting the techniques fully right but it’s a class to just watch and follow and just have fun. I’d recommend it certainly. Contact the school directly for the timetable of the classes as they offer other classes also at different time.

Wonderful creative outlet! - This experience was so fun! Yasmin is a great instructor and really made the class enjoyable. As a beginner, I felt the pace of the class was good. Overall an excellent creative outlet and a wonderful introduction to brazilian samba! Highly recommend

The thrill of Samba - The class was amazing! We learned the basics of Samba. Yasmin, the instructor, who speaks perfect English caters the class to your expertise level. As a beginner, I felt included and was able to learn different Samba moves. The small group size of the class is also very good, so you get dedicated attention. Like, Samba the class is high-energy, upbeat, and lots of fun. I highly recommend it and would do it again!

Amazing class with a great teacher! - Yasmin was an amazing teacher, she provided an in depth history of capoeira, the studio itself and samba at the beginning of the class. She was really patient with my friend and I and went at a pace that we could easily follow. She also gave explanations about special parts of the samba routine. I had the best time and would recommend this class to everyone. ¡Me encanta la samba! 💃🏾

Would recommend! - Had so much fun! Yasmín was amazing and had everyone dancing. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming which I really appreciated since I went by myself. I was also able to stay and do a drumming class. I never realized how hard it was! So glad I did this tour / experience. I would recommend to everyone. As a bonus I was also able to watch some capoeira and enjoy some spontaneous drumming just outside the studio :)

Fun Samba class in Salvador - We ( adult daughter & I) went to Brazil and were keen to immerse into the culture. We attended Yasmin’s Samba class in Salvador. She was very friendly , inclusive & kind She was patient as it was new to a few of us. It was really nice to listen to nice music & learn Samba steps & dance. Everyone enjoyed the class, thank you

10/10! - A fantastic introduction to Samba! Our instructor Yasmin made the class welcoming, inclusive, informative and relaxed but most of all very fun. Having been initially reluctant (as a terrible dancer) I was pressured by my girlfriend to join and I couldn’t have enjoyed it more! Would 100% recommend for all, a very fun activity for our time in Bahia!

Unforgettable Introduction to Samba with Yasmin - I had the opportunity to take a samba class with Yasmin, and she was phenomenal. I loved everything about the class. She provided great logistical information for arriving at the class. The class was very engaging and fun. Not only did I get to learn samba, but I also learned about the history of samba in Salvador. I was even able to attend a culture night. The samba class was actually my first day in Brazil, and it was the perfect way to immerse myself in the culture. I would highly recommend taking this class; she even gave helpful pointers on how to navigate Brazil.
