This tour is a good way... - This tour is a good way to cover a lot of ground in Penang in one day. I had an itinerary in mind, but with heavy rain for part of the day, the driver, Nasir, made helpful suggestions - temples, museums, a mansion, and then several outdoor sights once the weather cleared. It turned what could have been a washout into a full and worthwhile day. Nasir was personable, accommodating, spoke good English, and keep things moving at a comfortable pace. The car was clean and comfortable, which made the ride between stops easy. My advice: request an English-speaking driver, bring cash for site entry, and enjoy.

Great 1st experience of Penang! - Our escort was quite friendly and knowledgeable of all the areas and ask our interest before his recommendations. Took us to the areas of interest and gave us fine points on the working of the site ensuring that our enjoyment vice fighting the confusion and fighting long lines

See Penang in Royal style - A fantastic tour of Penang. The driver "Boy" was extremely good. Very courteous, intuitive and informative. My wife and I are most appreciative of his services. Overall great value for money.

Great introductory tour. - My wife and I were lucky to do this tour with a tour guide, who liked to call himself Boy. The tour is about 8 hours long and you will visit all the locations that are on the itinery. If you are lucky enough to get Boy, he is most obliging and will arrange your itinery to suit your interests. He is an excellent guide and can certainly come up with alternatives if you like. For instance, we didn't go to Batu Feringhi. Boy thought we might like to visit Monkey Beach and Turtle Rock. When we agreed, he fixed us up with a return boat ride at much less than the usual cost. By the way, the boat ride was a lot of fun and the beach was very relaxing. Because my wife and I had already done a week in Penang, we had done many of the usual tourist things. Boy thought of some great alternatives, such as visiting and eating a durian market (The Penang version of the fruit is actually very tasty and nothing like the Thai or Singaporean versions). He also took us out into the country to see the paddy fields. With his excellent commentary, we really got an insiders view of Penang. We ended up by doing the Komtar tower. This is a 65 floor tower. The views of Georgetown were quite amazing and it is well worth a visit. This tour would probably one of the best things to do first as there is so much to see and do. It will really give you a great overview of Penang and you may decide to revisit some of the locations later. I would also like to thank Boy for his assistance in making it a great tour. He is was most courteous, speaks excellent English and was an excellent tour guide. You could not get better. I highly recommend this tour and if you decide to do it, ask for Boy, you will not get anyone better.

Best Penang Tour! - What a day trip around Penang island with Boy! My biggest take away from the day trip was Boy's love for his island which gave us the best experience! I would honestly recommend this tour for anyone that wants to see the island!

Nice day out - Ahmed took me to all the sites I was interested in but you had to pay the entrance fees separately at each place. He was a terrific person to travel with.

Nice, personalized experience in Penang - Very nice experience with Boy driver. He understood our plans, what we already experienced our selves before the trip and ofered some other nice places. He took us to local food place and suggest nice food. Very interesting coversations about the history of Penang and about life in Malaysia. He took pictures with us in all objects, what we visited. I recommend this driver and excursion!

Great way to browse through Penang in a day - Driver-com-guide was obliging and friendly throughout the tour. Shared history and background of places of interest from start till end. Just need to bear in mind this is a private tour and be prepared to bring along spare cash for local produce and optional tours along the way.

It’s car and driver service. No guide. - It’s average because there isn’t any guide provided. It’s just plain simple car and driver. So, I think it’s too expensive for the service I received.
