Berlenga Grande - Berlenga Island, or Berlenga Grande, is divided into two sections, nearly separated by a seismic fault. This fault has created the Carreiro dos Cações to the north and the Carreiro do Mosteiro to the south.
The larger section of the island is called Berlenga and makes up more than two-thirds of the island’s total area, while the smaller section is known as Ilha Velha (Old Island). The island covers an area of 78.8 hectares, measuring approximately 1.5 km in length, 0.8 km in width, and reaching a maximum height of 85 meters.
Visitors can explore the Duque de Bragança Lighthouse, the São João Baptista das Berlengas Fort, Carreiro do Mosteiro Beach, and enjoy local dining options.

Castelo de Obidos - It is believed that Óbidos was established by the Celts around 308 BC. Although the Phoenicians attempted to dominate the area, they were unsuccessful due to Celtic resistance. Eventually, the Celts surrendered to the Romans, who conquered this significant land.
However, capturing this territory was challenging, as there was strong resistance near the fortification, particularly on the eastern side. Realizing that entry from this direction was impossible, the Romans lifted the siege and captured the town by water. They embarked from a northern port (now known as Barra de S. Martinho) and sailed to the town walls through the mouth of the Foz do Arelho.
