• Guilderton - Just 1.5 hours from Perth, our initial stop is the coastal town of Lancelin, where you can stretch your legs and enjoy breathtaking views over Western Australia’s largest network of towering, snow-white sand dunes, beautifully contrasting with the turquoise Indian Ocean. Due to the temporary closure of Lancelin beaches and lookout because of landslides and erosion, our alternative stop will be Guilderton for picturesque beach views.
• Nilgen Lookout - Approximately 1.5 hours after leaving Perth, we make our first stop in the coastal town of Lancelin for a brief leg stretch and a scenic lookout. Renowned for having the largest network of sand dunes in Western Australia, Lancelin’s towering, snow-white dunes create a stunning contrast against the sparkling turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean beyond.
• Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre - The Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre, situated at the entrance to Nambung National Park, provides fascinating insights into the Pinnacles’ geology, wildlife, and Aboriginal heritage. With interactive displays and breathtaking views, it’s the ideal starting point for exploring this unique desert landscape.
• The Pinnacles - The Pinnacles are remarkable limestone formations emerging from the golden sands of Nambung National Park. Formed over thousands of years, these natural pillars create a surreal desert landscape, with shapes ranging from jagged spires to rounded columns. Their mysterious beauty makes the Pinnacles one of Western Australia’s most iconic and photographed natural wonders.
• Hangover Bay - Hangover Bay, near the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park, is a tranquil coastal spot where the Indian Ocean glows under vibrant sunset skies. It’s the perfect place to relax, with gentle waves, soft sands, and a peaceful end to a day of exploration over a delightful picnic dinner.
• Nambung National Park - Nambung National Park, home to the renowned Pinnacles Desert, showcases a breathtaking landscape of ancient limestone spires rising from golden sands. Located along Western Australia’s Coral Coast, the park also features coastal views, native wildlife, and vibrant wildflowers in spring.
• Greater Perth - As the journey concludes back at your pick-up point, sit back, relax, and reminisce about the day’s magic—filled with epic sights, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
