• The Pinnacles - Enjoy a picturesque drive north from Perth into the heart of Nambung National Park. With 4WD capabilities, venture off the beaten path into the Pinnacles Desert to explore the 4.5 km driving trail. You’ll have the chance to wander at your own pace among the thousands of unique limestone formations rising from the golden sands.
• Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre - Stop by the Pinnacles Discovery Centre to learn about the geology of the Pinnacle formations and the area’s cultural and natural heritage. Visit the gift store for some unique and interesting souvenirs.
• Cervantes - Next, find a tranquil spot for morning tea. Depending on the weather and local conditions, we’ll select one of the region’s beautiful secluded beaches to relax on. Cara will prepare hot tea or coffee, and you can enjoy a biscuit or two while taking in the beach’s sights and sounds. Feel free to grab a deck chair, dip your toes in the water, stroll along the sandy beach, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
• Lake Thetis - Continue the journey to Lake Thetis Thrombolites. These ancient rock-like structures, formed by microbial communities, are among the earliest signs of life on Earth, dating back over 3.5 billion years. As you walk along the easy boardwalk trail, you’ll get a close-up view of these living fossils and discover what makes them so special.
• Lobster Shack Cervantes WA - The Lobster Shack is “small town famous” for its fresh seafood meals, which you can enjoy while overlooking the Indian Ocean. Lunch is included in your tour package, with options like buckets of prawns, Australian oysters, classic fish and chips, and a selection of seafood delights. You can also upgrade your ticket to include the star of the show - The Lobster. Seafood alternatives, as well as gluten-free and vegetarian options, are available.
• Lancelin - Sundowners - A perfect way to end the day before returning to Perth. We’ll find an ideal spot to enjoy a relaxed Aussie sundowner. Settle into a deck chair with your drink of choice, whether it’s a chilled local beer, gin & tonic with WA botanicals, or fresh Australian orange juice. After a day of discovery, Cara will have you back in Perth just after 5 pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy Perth City in the evening.
• Lancelin Sand Dunes - In the afternoon, head south to the expansive white sands of the Lancelin Dunes, where you can choose your adventure. Grab a sandboard and ride the dunes, or relax and take in the breathtaking views of endless sand meeting sea and sky.
