Swan Valley Best Personalised Wineries Tour - We have just had the most wonderful day with Up Close and Local Tours visiting wineries in the Swan Valley. Our guide Paul gave us such a personalised tour taking us to the best wineries based on local knowledge and hospitality. The wine tastings and food experiences were fabulous. Thank you Paul - we would definitely do this tour again!

Perfect Swan Valley Wine Tour! - Such a wonderful tour! Shannon was incredibly knowledgeable and personable - she really made sure we had a great experience and time together. It was the perfect size too - there were 6 of us in total, so we got a nice, intimate experience and the van fit all of us very comfortably. Finally, the general Swan Valley experience was great - given the size of the region and the wineries, you could not help but feel like you were receiving special, personal attention everywhere you went! Much different than some of the larger winery tours you might find elsewhere in the world.

A delightful tour - We actually had a private Swan Valley Tour with Paul that was wonderful. Everything was carefully arranged and we tasted a variety of wines and visited four unique wineries. We especially enjoyed the canape and wine flight at Mandoon Estate, our first stop. I hadn't had Chenin Blanc for ages but had several on this tour as it is a specialty of the region. All were different and good and reminded me that I enjoy this varietal. Paul is an excellent, knowledgeable and friendly guide. We'll definitely try another of his tours when we return to Perth.

A great day out - We had a great day out with Paul. We went to some beautiful settings, experienced some lovely wines, found out about the local area and generally had a lovely, relaxed very enjoyable day.

The best wine tour ive... - The best wine tour ive been on.A really fabulous day out.Our guide was knowledgable and showed us some of the Swan valley s hidden gems. Be prepared though to buy your own lunch, its not included.

Lovely way to spend a day - Our tour was conducted by Shannon and we loved every minute of it. From pick up to drop off it was seamless. Each winery had different qualities and we enjoyed each of them.
I particularly like chardonnay which wasn't on tasting at all of them, but Shannon made sure I got to taste them anyway. She was also kind enough to send us a very detailed text that night to recommend restaurants, coffee shops and bars that we had asked about during the day. Nothing was too much trouble. We never felt rushed. She said several times that as long as we got to the last vineyard before they closed everything was alright.
Can't recommend it highly enough.

Swan Valley treasures - We had an enjoyable day out to Swan Valley, an unexpected surprise since we originally wanted to go out to Margaret River. On hindsight, it was much more time efficient for a day trip out of Perth city and we also get to visit beautiful wineries and learnt about the Swan valley produces which is less known to us. We also had delicious lunch at Sittella beautiful courtyard overlooking the vines.
Shannon was our guide for that day, she had been very professional and helpful through our email exchanges so was great to have her bringing us around. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate.
Highly recommend anyone to book a private tour with them - it will be an experience you will not forget!

Private Swan Valley Wine Tasting Tour - I contacted Up Close and Local to arrange a private day tour of wineries in the Swan Valley for myself, my husband and my 89yr old father-in-law. Having made enquiries with several companies, the prompt and friendly response from Up Close gave me a good feeling about the company and we soon agreed a tailored itinerary over email. Shannon picked us up from our air bnb in the Upper Valley and we had a wonderful day, she shared with us some of the history of the area without over loading us with info. We went to some delightful small local producers who were obviously passionate about their craft and guided us through multiple tastings. Shannon’s relationship with the staff at the wineries made the whole thing really friendly, informal and personal, going midweek meant that we got one on one service! We were never rushed and Shannon was happy to flex the itinerary when dad started to run out of steam. I cannot recommend Up Close and Local highly enough we will definitely use them again.

Wonderful day visiting small wineries in the swan Valley - Our winery tour was excellent.. we enjoyed Shannon’s company and appreciated her extensive knowledge of the wineries we visited.. our day ran very smoothly, the wineries we visited and our lunch all provided a great insight into the swan Valley.. would highly recommend this tour company
