ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT - IQUITOS – BORAS NATIVES

Iquitos Amazon Region - Upon arriving in Iquitos, a representative will greet you and escort you to the pier for your journey to the lodge. You will navigate the Amazon River, the world’s largest river by volume, and experience its vastness, the stunning tropical jungle, and the charming riverside towns like the Boras. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation and enjoy a delicious lunch.
After lunch, at the appropriate time, embark on a botanical walk to see giant trees and learn about medicinal plants. Visit the animal rescue center to observe various animal species. Explore the Amazon trapiche, where sugar cane juice is extracted. Witness the Amazonian sunset before returning to the lodge.
After dinner, join our experienced guide for a night exploration to distinguish the sounds of animals and insects in their nocturnal habitat.

TROPICAL SUNRISE - PINK DOLPHINS – FISHING

Iquitos Amazon Region - Rise early to appreciate the sunrise in the Amazon jungle and observe the exotic birds of the tropical jungle. After breakfast, take a traditional boat to search for gray and pink dolphins (BUFEO COLORADO). Enjoy swimming at the beaches formed by the Amazon River (optional).
Visit the indigenous YAGUAS tribe, where you can dance with them, participate in their cultural experiences, and learn about their hunting tools like the blowgun. After lunch, embark on a traditional boat for the renowned Piranha fishing and catch other fish species from the rivers. Spend the afternoon sharing knowledge with local people.

FLOATING PLANTS – BUTTERFLY

Iquitos Amazon Region - After breakfast, visit the Butterfly Center to discover and learn about various species. Visit a riverside town to learn about the customs and experiences of the jungle inhabitants.
Visit Garzal Lake to admire the victorias regia or floating plants, considered the largest in the world, and observe bird species such as the Oatzin, the jabiru, and others. Return to the lodge.
After dinner, rest in preparation for the next day.

JUNGLE OF MIRRORS - DEPARTURE - IQUITOS

Iquitos Amazon Region - Embark on a journey through the Yanayacu River, known as the “jungle of mirrors,” and visit the jungle healer to learn about traditional healing practices and activities like the Icarus of the Mapacho cigar and songs to the mother jungle.
Return to the lodge for lunch. Visit the farm of the Paiches and lizards, with a brief explanation from experienced individuals about raising these species. Return to Iquitos city by 5:30 pm.
Note: Flights should be scheduled after 6 p.m. to ensure ample time for travel from the lodge to the airport.
