Cusco - Paradise Lodge

Manu National Park - Departing from Cusco by private bus, the first stop will be in the town of Huancarani for breakfast. The journey continues through the mountains to the charming folkloric town of “Paucartambo.” Here, a brief stroll around the town will be enjoyed before proceeding to “Tres Cruces,” the gateway to the Cultural Zone of Manu and the cloud forest. The adventure continues to San Pedro, where a one-hour walk will allow observation of Peru’s national bird, the Cock of the Rock(s), along with monkeys and orchids. Arrival at the private Paradise Lodge is scheduled for the evening, where an overnight stay is planned.

Paradise Lodge - Palotoa Ecological Reserve

Manu National Park - Following breakfast, the journey continues by private bus to Atalaya. Along the way, there will be stops to observe a coca plantation and a viewpoint offering a panoramic view of the jungle and river. From Atalaya, a motorized boat will transport guests to Aguas Calientes, where natural hot springs provide a relaxing bath. The boat trip offers sightings of various animals, particularly birds, and stunning landscapes. Arrival at R.E. Amazon is in the afternoon. A night walk will reveal nocturnal creatures, followed by an overnight stay in a comfortable lodge nestled in the Amazon.

Palotoa Ecological Reserve (exploring)

Manu National Park - On this day of exploration, the jungle will be traversed using an extensive trail system, with a small day pack including lunch. Along the way, encounters with diverse wildlife such as monkeys, collared peccaries, and birds like eagles, parrots, and toucans are expected, along with medicinal plants and giant trees. There may also be opportunities for swimming and fishing. After nightfall, a search for caiman eyes will be conducted. The night will be spent in a comfortable lodge.

Manu National Park - An early start will see the return to Atalaya by boat, where a private bus will be ready to transport everyone back to Cusco, with an evening arrival expected.
