• Salkantay Trail - Lake Humantay is a stunning landscape nestled in the Peruvian Mountain Salkantay, known for its snow-capped peaks. The journey will take us from Soraypampa to Lake Humantay. This turquoise green lake is a natural wonder and holds sacred significance for the Andean people. Following the hike, there will be a spiritual experience with a local shaman who will conduct a beautiful ceremony. The trek offers views of some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Peru.

The altitude of Lake Humantay is 4,250 meters above sea level, creating a unique climate and temperature in the area. During the day, temperatures can reach 5º C, while at night they may drop to 0º C.

Guests will be picked up from their hotel at 4 am in private transportation to head to Mollepata, a small town reached in approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, breakfast will be served before beginning the hike to Humantay Lake. The journey continues with an additional hour of transport to Soraypampa, situated at 3900 meters above sea level. Here, the guide will provide recommendations for the trek to Humantay Lake, located at 4200 meters above sea level, near the Salkantay mountain. The hike to Humantay Lake takes about 1.5 hours, offering stunning views of the snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay mountains. Upon reaching Laguna Humantay, guests can admire the beautiful turquoise lagoon. A small snack will be enjoyed while taking in the breathtaking landscapes, followed by the return walk to Soraypampa. In the afternoon, the group will arrive back in Mollepata for lunch. Afterward, the return journey to Cusco will commence in private transport, with an estimated arrival time of 7:00 pm, where guests will be dropped off at their hotel.
