Excellent adventure tourism route - The tour was what I was looking for, adventure tourism. Ruth is a great host who helped me with everything I needed. My guides were Reger and Rusbelt, who are very friendly and have a lot of knowledge of the jungle. They were even able to catch fish from the river, which made the adventure more interesting. It's not a tour that takes you to reserves that guarantee you'll see animals or enjoy amenities, it's an adventurous tour in which you really go deep into the jungle in search of something. You take a canoe tour along the river at night, something very mystical and interesting. I would recommend this trip to people who are looking for adventure, not for those looking to relax.

Adventure in the Pacaya Samiria jungle - It's a spectacular site and a very fun tour, a real jungle adventure. The landscapes, the animals, the great river and the Amazon rainforest, amazing, beautiful, wonderful, incredible. The guide Daniel is amazing, a true adventurer who teaches you everything he knows, guides you, and is a great companion. The boat driver, Roman, is charming and a great cook. Both were always available to do all kinds of activities. And the owner of the agency, Ruth, was a delight, always available and very attentive. She advised us on everything we needed, including luggage, and got us all the taxis and hotels we needed outside of the tour in Iquitos at a very good price. An unforgettable experience, thanks to the entire team. I recommend it to any adventurer. It's pure jungle, with no major amenities, but if you're passionate about nature like we are, it's wonderful! Sleeping in the jungle in a tent was spectacular. Each group stayed in their own tent. And the Buenos Aires Village campsite was very nice. Private rooms with bathrooms were in a beautiful cabin built and managed by the villagers themselves, which helps the local economy. The people were very friendly, and we learned to fish with them, and they explained their way of life to us. We were a small group, three people, and we had a great adventure partner. Thanks everyone!!

Best possible way to experience the rainforest — full immersion - I did three days in the jungle with Ruth Expeditions and I can say that out of almost a month of great experiences in Peru, this was the greatest! Roger was the best guide you could hope for, and Roman was a great boat driver and cook, and Ruth runs a tight and professional operation. We saw amazing animals — never thought I’d see a pink dolphin swimming through a flooded rainforest!, not to mention sloths, 4 kinds of monkeys, macaws, toucans, caimans, giant frogs — and mindblowing trees. Can’t recommend this more strongly.

3 Days full adventure and relaxation ✌ - I want to highlight the warmth with which we were treated. Very careful of the details. I really feel happy about the experience in Pacaya Samiria Reserve. I really like that the itinerary is loaded with activities because we make the most of the 3 days. It's worth it. Thanks to the wonderful team they have, attentive and respectful of visitors and nature.

NOT TO MISS! - I thought that this would be an orchestrated experience with domesticated animals and routes made to walk in the forest but I was extremely wrong. We headed off into the forest where we had to set up camp, each person had their own tent and 3 meals a day are provided. Its at night the fun starts where we wander off into the forest with our headlamps trying to find specific animals. Daniel our guide was an expert at finding these animals and keeping us safe. It is gut wrenching to not know what you could find. We saw foot prints of a jaguar whilst looking for howler monkeys and anacondas. Once we were back late at night, we went on the river with our canoe to look for crocodiles. With no lights and just us on the river, the stars above are impeccable and nothing like youve ever seen before. In the mornings we get woken up by the sounds of the rainforest and the howler monkeys. It is truly one of the best experiences of my life and I thank Ruth and my guide Daniel for this unforgettable memory. You will make friends for life.

Highly recommended for real adventure, no zoo visiting - We did the 3-day Amazon tour with Ruth Amazon Expeditions and had an incredible time from start to finish. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly — from pickup in Iquitos to the boat ride deep into the jungle. Our guide was not only knowledgeable about the wildlife and local culture, but also incredibly friendly and passionate. We saw pink dolphins, monkeys, sloths, and so many exotic birds. The night walks and piranha fishing were real highlights! The lodge was comfortable and surrounded by stunning nature. The food was freshly prepared, delicious, and always more than enough. What made this tour special was the personal touch and the feeling that we were truly off the beaten path. If you’re looking for an authentic and safe Amazon experience, we can’t recommend Ruth Amazon Expeditions enough!

Sleep in the Amazon River - It was a wonderful experiential experience and to be able to see the animals in their natural habitat is amazing and to be able to sleep in the Amazon rainforest, to travel its rivers and eat what it gives us, it is certainly a unique experience. All very well organized, guides Roger and Roman always attentive to our needs and Ruth worried from the start to the end of the tours so that everything goes wonderfully. 100% recommended, if you want to live a unique experience if you dare you will come!!
