• Lake Titicaca - Guests will be collected from their hotel around 6:30 am and transported to the shores of Lake Titicaca. Here, they will meet the tour guide who will provide a safety briefing and basic paddling instructions.

During the kayaking experience, participants will be within the Titicaca National Reserve, offering a great opportunity to observe the lake’s wildlife.

• Uros Floating Islands - After approximately an hour of paddling, guests will reach the Uros Floating Islands. They will have about 1.5 hours to explore this remarkable floating reed village. With over 50 floating islands, visitors will have the chance to explore two of them.

On the first floating island, the guide will share insights about the local inhabitants. Visitors will then have free time to explore, visit the reed huts, take photos, and purchase souvenirs to support the islanders if they wish.

• Taquile Island - Following this visit, the tour continues with a boat ride to Taquile Island. The island’s residents are renowned as “the best weavers of Peru.” Guests will embark on a scenic hike to enjoy the lake views. During the hike, there will be a stop at Taquile’s town square to visit handicraft shops and admire the traditional weaving. The square is the highest point of the hike (3,950m or 12,960 feet).

After some leisure time around the square, guests will enjoy a traditional lunch. The hike concludes at the island’s second port, where a motorboat will take them back to Puno, ending the tour at approximately 3:30 pm.

• Pre-departure briefing: Please make time for a mandatory pre-departure briefing at 7pm on the day before your tour at your accommodation in Puno city center. Here you will receive detailed information about your excursion, a list of what to bring, and you will be able to have any questions answered.
• Please wait in the lobby of your hotel for your pick-up 15 minutes before. Pick-up time may vary depending on your hotel location so please be patient
