Sacred Valley of the Incas - After enjoying breakfast, guests will be collected from their hotel in Cusco and transported to the northern part of the city.
The first stop is the remarkable Llama Experience, offering a chance to engage with these charming animals, feed them, and discover the intriguing world of camelids.
As the journey continues, there are several brief stops along the route.
The next destination is the town of Pisac, where visitors can explore the impressive Inca site and soak in the lively atmosphere of the town.
Following the winding path of the Urubamba River, the journey leads to Ollantaytambo. Amidst stunning natural beauty, lunch is enjoyed at a nearby restaurant.
In Ollantaytambo, the exploration deepens as visitors uncover the secrets of the Inca site, admiring structures that have endured through the ages.
Guests will then board the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, also known as Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, a transfer to the hotel is arranged.
Manos De La Comunidad - Visit the incredible animal center, learn about traditional Andean weaving techniques, pet a llama or alpaca, and even see the Andean Condor.
Pisac - One of the most significant Inca sites in the Sacred Valley; take a leisurely walk, explore, and learn about this city perched on a mountain.
Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - Witness the awe-inspiring Ollantaytambo Inca temple.
Ollantaytambo - Visit the museum, wander through the original streets, and reflect on how the locals utilize the Inca town.
Sunrise at Machu Picchu - Cusco
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Early in the morning, head to the bus station for the 25-minute drive up to Machu Picchu, visit the prime spot, and enjoy a guided tour of the citadel. Arriving early allows for witnessing the sunrise over the Inca site.
The incredible craftsmanship of the Incas is still evident after centuries, initially crafted by engineers and architects. The precision of the carved walls contrasts beautifully with the lush, green mountains and steep highlands. Huayna Picchu and the Drawbridge are optional sites to explore.
For the adventurous, a 55-minute climb up the nearby peak of Huayna Picchu is available. Visitor numbers to Huayna Picchu are limited to 400 per day, and tickets must be purchased in advance.
After the Machu Picchu experience, guests will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes and return to Ollantaytambo.
